How many of you people think Beer Pong is possibly the greatest game ever?

It's gotten to the point where we will have a Beer Pong Tournament almost every weekend. It's nuts, and I rule at it.

I hope everyone else feels the same love for Beer Pong.

Beer pong was great in college, but it got overrated. It's one thing to have a tournament with a bunch of people, but when people start playing it just because they are bored that's when it gets overrated.

And then you get the guys who do nothing but play beer pong. The guys who you ask to go party, they would rather play beer pong. Then they start playing it on Sunday nights, then Sunday mornings... try and stay away from those guys.

Anyways... beer pong is great in moderation.

In a nutshell, any kind of table works really, preferably a ping pong table though.

Line up 6 or 10 cups in a triangle shape (like the picture) and take 2 ping pong balls, and 4 people to play, and try to toss the balls in the cups.

When you get a ball in the cup, other team has to drink, if you and your partner get two, you get to shoot again and they drink two cups. If you and your partner get the ping pong balls in the same cup, they drink 3 cups and you get the balls back.

It's simple, but a great time.

(there are several other types of rules though, that is what I play by though)

motown is right. fun, but people have a tendancy to overdue it.

plus, if your trying to pick up girls at a party, its a horrible game (unless your partners with them, then you have a huge advantage) cuz theyre at the other end of the table, and dudes will swarm. oh, how the dudes will swarm.

a better drinking game is flip cup. girls love it. its more social cuz everyone is gathered closer. plus games dont last as long as beer pong games do sometimes.

Yes, Flippy Cup is an outstanding game, however, lets not get off track here, lets give Beer Pong what its due.

Shit. I thought this was a thread about beer bongs.

I remember beer pong...only we called it quarter bounce and we used hard currancy instead of a little white ball. The only thing a ping pong ball is good for is to stuff down someones gas tank and really screw up their life.

I've played beer pong once. It's over rated.

I don't really get the games. I don't need any more excuses to get hammered. I've already got more than most.

Drinking games are all overrated I think. I'd rather drink while playing cards, watching a game, playing pool, bowling or something else. Why play a game to drink when you can multi task and drink while playing some other game?
