View Full Version : LOL @ Darko the wrath of diddy 02-04-2006, 12:12 AM He was deactivated for Acker tonight. A trade on the horizon? Everyone pray that it is true. SKelly 02-04-2006, 12:28 AM According to A. Sherrod Blakely, he had the flu and didn't make the trip. I don't know if it was the flu or the "flu". the wrath of diddy 02-04-2006, 12:33 AM Plase God let it be the "flu". Darko for a real back-up PG would be beautiful. Brevin Knight and a pick for Megabust? I'd cream myself. UncleCliffy 02-04-2006, 12:38 AM I'm still hoping for Al Harrington. Moodini31 02-04-2006, 02:16 AM Man, look what happened to our expectations. [smilie=toilet.gif] How hyped were we when we got the #2 pick and thought we had 'Melo for sure? Then we draft some Serbian cat named Dorko [smilie=loser.gif] and now we will cream ourselves if we get Brevin Knight or Al Harrington. [smilie=arrgh.jpg] If only Joe D could draft too. JS 02-04-2006, 02:56 AM I think Joe has pist off a lot GM's now to the point I wouldn't expect a Darko deal to happen. I thought a few weeks ago the over under on a Darko deal was 3 weeks, I was seriously wrong. Now I think we would be lucky if Joe moved him in 12 months, so no chance he is moved in the next 19 days IMO. Joe has received numerous offers of substantial value he has turned them down one after another. Now that if Joe approaches a team with a deal they are going to be affraid of getting swindled given Joe's rep in trdes. I am not saying GM's don't like the upside of Darko or Joe couldn't find a deal, I just don't think he can find a deal like he could of on draft night 3 years ago, last season or even early in this season. Black Dynamite 02-04-2006, 09:58 AM well we're doomed now since we have darko. the future of the pistons is forever tarnished into mediocrity. i expect us to lose 20 str8 games in response to having Darkhead still on the team. [smilie=artist.gif] Matt 02-04-2006, 10:18 AM there's only one assumption we can make of this whole ordeal. Delfino and Darko made out, and Darko caught Delfino's flu. Mikey 02-04-2006, 10:45 AM Brevin Knight and a pick for Megabust?I'd rather make this trade than the Darko for Harrington trade to tell you the truth... Kilo 02-04-2006, 10:58 AM I think Dumars wants to hold on to Milicic until this off-season in hopes he can use him as certain bait to land Kevin Garnett. Too bad Minnesota already had Skita earlier this year because they'll know what they are looking at and not touch him with a ten foot pole. Also I think Joe might try to deal him on draft day. There isn't many, if any, true centers in this years draft and a team who has a high pick and is looking at a couple SG/SF as the BPA's might deal it for Milicic. A tip-off of course will be the kinds of players we work out leading up to the draft. Pharaoh 02-04-2006, 12:54 PM Kilo: Are we dealing Darko for KG or dealing Darko for a high pick in the 2006 Draft? Anthony 02-04-2006, 01:47 PM Plase God let it be the "flu". Darko for a real back-up PG would be beautiful. Brevin Knight and a pick for Megabust? I'd cream myself. Brev Knight on this team would be sick. Fuck a Arroyo. MOLA1 02-04-2006, 02:35 PM I'd take Harrington in a heartbeat. I still don't understand why cats don't like Arroyo. Pharaoh 02-04-2006, 02:39 PM Because he doesn't have Pistons DNA? Poor D and shitty shooting = $4,000,000 per for the next 2 seasons after this one? I'd rather send him packing and get a pick late in the first round or something. We don't need to spend that much money on a back-up PG. It ain't my money but if it was Arroyo and Darko would have been dealt for Cato and the Magic's first in 2006 (unprotected of course) Kilo 02-04-2006, 02:55 PM Kilo: Are we dealing Darko for KG or dealing Darko for a high pick in the 2006 Draft? Both - Joe's good like that. I think ideally Joe would like to package Milicic along with McDyess, Arroyo, Delfino for KG, but Minnesota won't bite on such a deal where better deals will be offered. Plan B will be a 2006 draft pick - not Gay or Morrison high, maybe 6-10 range sorta deal. Maybe then the Pistons could take Plan B and try again at Plan A... Moodini31 02-04-2006, 07:34 PM I'd take Harrington in a heartbeat. I still don't understand why cats don't like Arroyo. Cosigned. Arroyo plays decent D, moves the rock, and his jumper has really improved. You add all of that to the occasional flashy highlight pass. What more do you want from a backup PG? [smilie=shrug smile: Mikey 02-04-2006, 08:31 PM I'd take Harrington in a heartbeat. I still don't understand why cats don't like Arroyo. Cosigned. Trade reps mean little, people have been doing deals with Jerry West for 20 years. Varsity 02-04-2006, 10:27 PM I'd take Harrington in a heartbeat. How about 40% shooting and if that's decent d than Mo Evans is the Kobe stopper. the wrath of diddy 02-04-2006, 10:43 PM Amen. Arroyo is garbage in this system. He belongs on And1 mixed tape not an NBA roster. He's good for the flashy pass every other game but he sucks shit at running an offense. Cross 02-04-2006, 11:34 PM Amen. [smilie=applause.gi: BTW i love mixtapes. Brevin Knight gets alot of turnovers though. I would take him over Harrington though. Glenn 02-04-2006, 11:37 PM BTW i love mixtapes. I just got him for my fantasy team and in the few games i had him with, he got 4,5 TOs. I still wouldnt mind him. |
