Bob Weiss, Stan Van Gundy and Rob Babcock all bit the dust.

View Full Version : Another round of "Who's Getting Fired Next"? Glenn 01-31-2006, 10:31 AM Bob Weiss, Stan Van Gundy and Rob Babcock all bit the dust. It's time again, for "Who's Getting Fired Next"? Vote or die. WTFchris 01-31-2006, 10:45 AM I voted JVG. Yes they've battled injuries to top players, but they were still expected to be a playoff team at the very least. BigggChris04 01-31-2006, 10:51 AM What about Flip? ... I think Joe might fire him if we ever lose 2 games in a row this season Glenn 01-31-2006, 10:51 AM This is really tough. But I put them in this order: Montgomery Adelman Woodson Mitchell JVG Zeke Prick McHale Ainge Key: Soon Before, or right at the end of the season Off season No sooner than next year The top 4 were the most difficult to put in order, it really could be any of them next, IMO. Train Wreck 01-31-2006, 11:13 AM What about Flip? ... I think Joe might fire him if we ever lose 2 games in a row this season And he should.... I don't think we can get to 70 but I do think theres a chance we don't lose 2 in a row all season. BTW, I voted Adelman. Pharaoh 01-31-2006, 11:17 AM I voted Woodson, partly because he's been really fucking terrible and partly because other guys have excuses or time on their side. JVG - injuries Adelman - just made a major trade so he should get some time Monty - GS are slipping but I think Mullin is the kind of guy to ride it out. Off-season change? Mitchell - Like I said in another thread apparently Bosh has his back. Zeke - he's got some time because of the shit he's dealing with now. If the Knicks continue this way though he's gone this off-season. Carlisle - Indy will wait and see but major changes should be coming this off-season McHale - just made a trade and will get some time Ainge - IMO he's locked in and has the most security of anyone on this list. Fool 01-31-2006, 12:03 PM This is really tough. I agree with this for the most part but I would move Isiah to a redish-green color because if anything descriptive comes out in the "issue" he's dealing with, I can see him getting the quick axe. I also would move Woodson to the top of the red list. I pick Woodson. Taymelo 01-31-2006, 12:07 PM I picked Montgomery. His team hasn't won in a long time, started hot, is now losing like crazy, Baron Davis absolutely refuses to listen to him and apparently dribbled out the clock in a 1 point loss to punish him, and I read somewhere that they interviewed one of their players about "Monty's offense" finally clicking, and the guy (not Baron Davis) was like (I'm paraphrasing) "Monty's offense? Monty's offense? Fuck that. Our doing well has nothing to do with Monty. Its the players". Not a good sign for ole' Monty. Glenn 01-31-2006, 12:14 PM "Who's Getting Fired Next"? Jeff Van Gundy 22% [ 2 ] Isiah Thomas 11% [ 1 ] Mike Woodson 22% [ 2 ] Rick Adelman 22% [ 2 ] Mike Montgomery 22% [ 2 ] Sam Mitchell 0% [ 0 ] Rick Carlisle 0% [ 0 ] Kevin McHale 0% [ 0 ] Danny Ainge 0% [ 0 ] Total Votes : 9 Tight race. Sam Mitchell must be enjoying his new-found job security. Pharaoh 01-31-2006, 12:20 PM My sources are legit lol Cross 01-31-2006, 06:06 PM I voted Woodson. next would be Monty and McHale Mikey 01-31-2006, 06:21 PM Vote or die.LMAO Artis Gilmore 01-31-2006, 09:49 PM Adelman. |
