Hold Kobe to under 40 and we win running away.

You guys are mean. I only want to win. And for everyone to get the fuck out of my way when they pass me the ball
Anthony 01-27-2006, 11:39 PM Did he really say the first two sentences?
Black Dynamite 01-27-2006, 11:41 PM Did he really say the first two sentences?
of course not [smilie=antlers.gif]
Anthony 01-27-2006, 11:41 PM Oh
UncleCliffy 01-27-2006, 11:42 PM Kobe's career ppg against Detroit is 19.5
Pretty damn good.
Anthony 01-27-2006, 11:43 PM If that holds ture, and he takes his normal amount of shots, Mad Max can start eating people in the 3rd.
Cross 01-28-2006, 06:39 AM Kobe sucked ass in the Warriors game until the Warriors gave up in the 4th quarter, like usual
MOLA1 01-28-2006, 09:14 AM [smilie=bluegrab.gi:

MOLA1 01-28-2006, 10:26 AM I say Kobe scores 28 points.
Glenn 01-28-2006, 10:29 AM I'll go with 38, with 4 dimes, 2 steals and 6 boards.
If the game wasn't on ESPN, I'd say 26.

Mikey 01-28-2006, 11:01 AM Pistons - 103
Kobe - 87
Artermis 01-28-2006, 11:14 AM The question is not really how many points he scores, but how many shots it takes him to score all his points.
Art
Anthony 01-28-2006, 12:40 PM yep. art is right. If we can hold him under 30 and he takes his normal amount of shots, that "team" (or the 1 guy and the 4 fan boys he's out there with) are fucked.

Anthony 01-28-2006, 01:54 PM ROFLMAO!

Kobe Byrant 32
...
Thats all that matters
metr0man 01-28-2006, 04:51 PM We've looked sluggish the last few games, so I think there's a slight outside chance we could be a little worn and tired and drop this one.. but i'd rather lose to the hawks than the Kobies, so go Pistons!
I am hoping Rasheed doesn't slack off. He should just go nuts down in the post. Who's gonna stop him? CHris Mihm? lol!
the gamechat will be live for this game as well.
the last game was fun, so stop by [smilie=army.gif] (chatroom details will be up about 30min before the game)
are there any out of town/out of the country folks who wouldn't mind listening to an online stream of WDFN? i couldn't get the video working, but might be able to hook up a regular radio to my PC and stream the game (since WDFN's site blacks the games out). LMK if you're at all interested.

MOLA1 01-29-2006, 02:00 PM iagree
DennyMcLain 01-29-2006, 06:50 PM Lakers 101, Pistons 98
Kobe 38 pts, 7 assists, 6 reb
Mihm 22 pts and owns Big Ben
Odom 12 pts and 12 assists
Parker 12 pts and 3 steals
This will begin a 10 game losing streak for the Pistons...just as Kilo had predicted.
And if any of you assclowns take me seriously and attack this post.... well, I've heard shock therapy is a fantastic treatment for your problem.
Koolaid 01-29-2006, 07:26 PM kobe is going for over fifty, but he is going to lose anyway.

metr0man 01-29-2006, 08:53 PM Goddammit, 12 point game with 4+ mins left. I'm pissed that we let them get back into it. Well "into it" is a loose term, but we had them by 20+ at one point.

i'm not arguing with you fuck head, It's easier to score on anybody then from the bench though. Kobe was hitting shots on prince too, Delfino was capable of keeping up with him but really no one can stop that guy. It's odd that they took Kobe out for most of third and fourth though. He warmed up in the second.
Black Dynamite 01-29-2006, 09:58 PM i'm not arguing with you fuck head,.
that would be the right move [smilie=amish.gif] since this isn't an argument. [smilie=antlers.gif]
MOLA1 01-29-2006, 10:03 PM The Detroit Pistons are 37-5.
Anthony 01-29-2006, 10:04 PM Thats fuckin crazy.

Evans was -10 when he was on the court. He was abused tonight. Its time Flip give Delfino more minutes.

According to this, Kobe was -12 (second only to Mihm). While I would like to see Delfino play more as well, I don't know that one game's +/- should be all that persuasive.
UncleCliffy 01-29-2006, 11:24 PM Well I'm not basing this on one game. I'm basing this on Evans getting torched on a daily basis.
robcat911 01-30-2006, 12:02 AM yea i was hoping to see delfino out there more.
When he was in there for the few minutes that he was he seemed to be ready to go and determined to hold up kobe. Oh well, maybe hes still fightin the flu and thats why he hasnt been in since the games he sat out.

shut up and post some booty pictures. you know your role.
Cross 01-30-2006, 12:20 AM Just thought i point this out, our longest winning streak is at 11, which is the league's longest while the Bobcats are on a 11 game skid.
b-diddy 01-30-2006, 01:04 AM this game was a snore.
anyone calling kobe a ballhog now? even if he is, its for the greater good. this laker team, in the words of bill walton, "is hoooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrible". why the fuck shouldnt kobe go for all the records in the world?
delfion looked good for the 4 minutes he played. i thought he played alot more than that. continues his nice streak. he was probably dehydrated.
H1Man 01-30-2006, 01:04 AM Tayshaun Prince - 37 minutes
Rasheed Wallace - 41 minutes
Ben Wallace - 38 minutes
Rip Hamilton - 39 minutes
Chauncey Billups - 43 minutes
Antonio McDyess - 17 minutes
Carlos Arroyo - 5 minutes
Maurice Evans - 16 minutes
Carlos Delfino - 4 minutes
Flip couldn't find more than 4 fucking minutes for Delfino?

When McGrady and Carter did that they got crucified by the media. Kobe is doing it more then anyone else in recent history. Why should he be exempt?
Koolaid 01-30-2006, 06:09 AM watching the reply of this game because i can't sleep.
chauncey got kneed in the thigh and then got his chin split open. Does anyone else think the laker strategy was to beat up Chauncey physically? Those aggresive traps they were running gave reason to get physical with him and get away with it. Just a thought.
I flipped over to the ESPN broadcast in the second half (with hesitation), just to see how they were making up for the lack of excitement. I excpected a non-stop Kobe slurp-fest which would send me back to Blaha and Laimbeer in mere seconds. What I heard instead was a lot of talk about just how good our Pistons are, and it warmed me in my sub-cockle region. I stayed with the ESPN broadcast for the rest of the game.
Just thought I'd share. Thanks for the time.
Artermis 01-30-2006, 08:28 AM I hate Kobe, as most of you have guessed, but Kobe has to take 30 shots a game for this team to be within 20 of anyone. They are really bad.

They had the entire cast of NBA Shootaround on the scene, the audio was terrible, and the video was washed out. We (the people I watched the game with) didn't stick around ESPN for more than a minute or two.

what world are you living in? i was amazed at how much hate was inspired by Kobe's 81 points. people have been praising him, but i've seen a lot more kobe-bashing than ever.
Glenn 01-30-2006, 09:02 AM I actually thought that the ESPN spin was the typical Kobe love fest.
We were up what, 12 at the half? And it was still all Kobe, all the time.
Glenn 01-30-2006, 09:06 AM I'll go with 38, with 4 dimes, 2 steals and 6 boards.
Actual:
39 pts
3 dimes
1 stl
6 boards
Holler at a player when you recognize me in the road!
Moodini31 01-30-2006, 09:36 AM Yup, it was a Kobe slurpfest again by the commentating crew. All I gotta say is that may have been the worst commentated game I've ever seen. They didn't have a play by play guy! It was just Saunders, Legler, and Anthony commenting on what happened after the play. Every now and then Stephen A. would pipe in with his 2 cents. It was tough to listen to. [smilie=arrgh.jpg]
On another note, the Pistons played well enough to win for most of the game, but got a little lax at the end. I've got a feeling they're going to drop the next game at NJ. I think they might be getting a little overconfident and relaxed. It's time for a wake-up call. I hope I'm wrong.
Glenn 01-30-2006, 09:42 AM I LOL'd when I saw it was John " bunch of punks " Saunders sitting courtside.
How hilarious would it have been if someone would have tossed a beer on him?
Black Dynamite 01-30-2006, 01:53 PM i'm not arguing with you fuck head,.
