Suns Acquire Tskitishvili from Timberwolves
The Phoenix Suns today acquired Minnesota forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili, who played for current Suns Head Coach Mike D’Antoni for Italian club Benetton Treviso in 2001-02, in exchange for the club’s 2006 second-round draft pick. In light of the deal the Suns GM response was "Skeet Skeet!".

How much you wanna bet that Skita breaks out in Phoenix? D'Antoni coached him in Europe and he seems to know how to turn scrubs into stars (see Diaw).

diaw is only getting time because of stoudemire. im not sure he gets the attention he's gotten otherwise. but it'll be a better fit than Minny.

The thing with Diaw is that you can always find a spot for him because he can play the 1-5. He was an absolute nobody last year and now he's a 12/6/6/1 guy. So there is no doubt he'll play when Amare comes back. I just see Skita, a guy who can shoot and handle the ball, having a "Breakout" type season in Phoenix. He won't put up massive numbers or anything. But he won't be a joke like he has in the past.
I think Skita will do well, and I hope he does because that will only help Milicic's market value should we ever look to trade him. The Phoenix system was made for a player like Skita- if he can't make it there he might as well go back to Europe.

I split this off because having this in the middle of the Celtic-Wolves trade discussion was crazy.

Could have split half my post too GD, but I'll do it:

Diaw is having a great season and it wouldn't matter who Phoenix had - he'd be getting playing time and doing well in Phoenix.
Skita will be better there and if not he's done. I think Phoenix is his last stop or he'll be out of the league altogether.

Not if Joe makes a move before the deadline.
And I'd consider Cato and a first rounder better than a second, wouldn't you?
