Thanks Mo.

I was going to post the lines, but every site I checked had about half of the games off the board.

Also, whomever gets around to it it first each day should make a new thread like this.

I have been - it seems to be working out pretty well. We've been posting whatever doesn't deserve it's own thread in the NBA world. The last couple of days it looks like game threads for other games.

Oh and try USAtoday.com. They come out with the lines pretty early.

Sorry Mo, it was a bad attempt at a joke because No Quarter posted that so many times.

I know that you've been on the job.

MoTown doesn't understand humor... please explain every joke in great detail from now on.

Who are you pulling for in the Miami-SA game. I gotta cringe and go with Miami here to get more seperation between us and the Spurs in our quest for the top seed. Then again Miami is starting to roll, and I might like to see them get humbled.

I'm rooting for Miami. Solely based on our needs for HCA. We're safe right now with a 10 game lead over Miami (which is insane at this point of the season). We've only got 3 games on the Spurs (Though it's 4 in the L column). I really don't see the Heat going on to big of a tear (and if they do we're likely going to keep pace for the most part).

im torn on the spurs/miami game Just cause i dont wanna hear the media talking about how miami was able to defeat the defending champs. You know they would run it to death. Then again seperation between us and the spurs is def somethin that needs to happen.

I guess ill go w. the spurs for the long term advantages of them getting a loss. And take the bullet for a while listening to the media suck on the heats balls once again

I'm rooting for the Heat simple due to homecourt.

The Spurs biggest weakness is their FT shooting.

Sprained ankle. He was carried off the floor and won't be returning today.

I don't care who wins this one - its win win for me.

Heads I win, tails San Antonio or Miami loses. Either way one of them gets fucked tonight.

SA up 97 - 91 with about 28 seconds left.

Can somebody explain to me why Tony Parker is draining jumpers left and right? He is 5-6 on jumpers and 2-2 on 3pt shots.

Spurs win and Parker shot 18 times to get his 38.

Wade shot 27 times to get 33.

I'm sure Shaq has no problem with Wade shooting so often though.

Some random thoughts on the Heat.

They have a problem. And that problem is Shreq is starting to show his age. I believe that in his two years with the Heat he has posted career lows (or very close to) in rpg, ppg, FG and FT attempts while posting career highs in fouls. He's slower and has less stamina than he once did and the new rules allowing zones are making it a lot tougher for him to get the ball where he likes it. He's putting up 19 and 9. Those are Pau Gasol type numbers. Real good numbers mind you but nothing great and not even close to the huge stat lines he once posted. It looks as though Snaq has been marginalized (shit Fatoine and White Chocolate are taking almost as many shots per game as he is). If he's not the MVP caliber player that he once was the Heat are just another team with two really good players.

Remember the time when 19 points for Shaq was a bad game?

Miami is going to regret their decision to give Shaq that extension.

He's still unstoppable when pissed off - however that only lasts for about five minutes and then he's tuckered out.

Does Gino look bad, or just a couple of games missed tops??

I don't know what Riley and the Heat were thinking blowing up the team and bringing in the clowns that they did. I was really worried about them until I heard they brought in J Dub and the Marshmallow Man and got rid of Rasoul Butler and Donkey Jones. They had a good nucleus around Shreq with some solid spot up shooting role players and they blew it up. They look like they are swirling around the toilet bowl right now.
