If anyone read a recent Simmons article about how bad a coach he thinks Doc Rivers is, you know that in the article Simmons asked 82games to put together some "Crunch Time Stats" to show how bad the Celtics are at blowing leads or trying to comeback late in the game. Anyway, 82 responded with a nice breakdown of many crunch time stats for the whole league. Of note is the overall offensive and defensive performance of teams in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter (found half way down the page). Particularly the Spurs terrific defensive performance and absolutely awful offensive performance during these times.
