What's the over/under on how many Pistons LB says he "loves" in the post game presser?
"i love Pop.....did you know he was the best man at my wedding?"
Starbury is likely out tonight, AD will probably be suspended and Curry could wake up and be hurt as well - I mean he was laying on the ground kicking and crying like he was shot last night. Crawford played 50 minutes last night in the overtime loss.

metr0man 01-19-2006, 12:03 PM I expect this to be an anal raping of the highest order, with them being bloody and ashamed curled up on the floor whimpering.

Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 12:06 PM welcome to this evil society of super villians

taymelo is the black girl
also i expect some serious resistence from the knicks at home. i think they are more dangerous w/o starburst in the game. if our bench steps up again, then we should be able to outlast em and pull away in the 3rd though.
Taymelo 01-19-2006, 12:13 PM taymelo is the black girl
No wonder Rorschach keeps trying to sleep with me - I'm bootyliscious.

Something is definately going on Chris because I replied to your post (thats now not there) that ended with "Tayshaun is gonna have a new career high tonight". I said something like "Didn't you say that about the ATL game?"
Glenn 01-19-2006, 01:00 PM Different thread, guys: http://wtfdetroit.com/viewtopic.php?t=590
Or maybe all of the "looming" mods conspired against you both in a series of ultra-secret PMs and thin ice warnings?

that's it. i coulda sworn i saw that too.
Joe Asberry 01-19-2006, 01:08 PM this is an excellent chance to embarass the Knicks at home, i expect us to win 135-66, so that would be the widest margin by which a team has ever won in NBA history :D

I thought thats happened to me a few times too in a diff. thread. Strange.
Anthony 01-19-2006, 05:08 PM Oh, and no reason why the pistons shouldnt win.
robcat911 01-19-2006, 07:02 PM Pistons will take this baby away in the first half. Expect Delfino and Evans to go off again on a team that sucks balls
almost game time....not sure if i'm going to stay in or go out to watch the game....
detroit up 14-8
running the break nicely.
H1Man 01-19-2006, 08:33 PM Tayshaun's goona have a new career high tonight BTW
I would like Delfino to get a new career high today.
Marv Albert, "You constantly hear the groans from the crowd."
LOL!
the Pistons are just toying w/ the Knicks right now.
28-13 at the end of the 1st quarter
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 08:44 PM solid first quarter. keep it up
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 08:46 PM you see joe d's face on the ben wallace airball. ouch~lol~
the piston's ball movement is just sick. it's got to suck to see that on teh opposing side, lol.
Ben just swatted the crap out of N.Robinson
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 08:48 PM jerome james defines suckage.
jerome james defines suckage.
the team that NY has right now does a pretty good job painting the picture of suckage, too....
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 08:51 PM im starting to think theres a beef with arroyo from the refs. he gets more touch fouls, carries, and lil bity nitpick calls than anyone per 48 minutes. yes i made that stat up :D
H1Man 01-19-2006, 08:53 PM Why the fuck are we watching Reggie Miller highlights in the middle of a Pistons - Knicks game?
reggie miller has serious Pistons-love after he retired.....i don't mind him much :P
i've got a feeling NY will make a close comeback purely based on Detroit sleepwalking the rest of the game.

I'll take it, because it also seems that are starters get the benefit of the doubt. And since Arroyo will play 5 minutes in the play-offs and our starters will average 35+, I think it is a great situation.
What I think happens is that Arroyo sees/hears what our starters - especially Rasheed get away with and thinks he can do the same. He hasn't "earned" that respect yet. The ref bump surely didn't help things either...
i've got a feeling NY will make a close comeback purely based on Detroit sleepwalking the rest of the game.
Once we think we have them beat and put on cruise control, it's really tough to get our asses back in gear.
Seven points with four minutes to go in the second half is all kinds of ridiculous...
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 08:59 PM hmmm delfino and hunter coming for defense may be a nice combo later this season.
hmmm delfino and hunter coming for defense may be a nice combo later this season.
agreed. Delfino almost knocked away a few passes already.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:01 PM yea the ref bump never helps.
i do like the benches deleopment and will be interested how it looks in march.
uh oh......6 point game.
time to trade Chauncey.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:05 PM chauncy for speedy claxton and a first round pick. book it
ouch. Dice and Chauncey are a combined 2-11FG
chauncy for speedy claxton and a first round pick. book it
throw in Darko and they just might bite. :alien:
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:06 PM ouch. Dice and Chauncey are a combined 2-11FG
yea that knick rim seems a lil tight. you hear how it sounds on the bricks? sounds like its made of iron alloy
ouch. Dice and Chauncey are a combined 2-11FG
yea that knick rim seems a lil tight. you hear how it sounds on the bricks? sounds like its made of iron alloy
yeah, i noticed that.
LOL@ the "ohhhhh" sighs from the Knicks fans, over and over, haha
back to a 10 pt lead.....Chauncey's safe.....for now....
dude, Reggie has some serious man-love for the Pistons. it's kinda weird....
metr0man 01-19-2006, 09:11 PM the bench kinda dropped the ball in the 2nd there.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:12 PM man Rips 3 point shooting has made us much tougher to guard. 4 available 3 point shooters on teams trying to recover.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:13 PM the bench kinda dropped the ball in the 2nd there.
maybe, it seemed curry's offense caused us problems more so. i do think the missed bunny and jumpers by dice killed us.
metr0man 01-19-2006, 09:14 PM Hey, Rasheed just passed by Woody Allen and his daughter-wife.
(i just like pointing out that Woody's fucking his daughter. kinda. what a freak)
whoa, Ernie Johson is tall. he's right up there next to Michael Redd. Redd's listed at 6'6".
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:17 PM Hey, Rasheed just passed by Woody Allen and his daughter-wife.
(i just like pointing out that Woody's fucking his daughter. kinda. what a freak)
i dont even care at this point. mail order orphan turned mail order wife is pretty sick though.
woody allen=very overated and his high marks as a filmaker makes him ok to fuck kids as does r kelly's fame.
i hate to admit this, but i was peeking over at the knick's board at tos. MAN, is it depressing. ___ sucks, ____sucks, ____sucks. fill in the blanks with any player. i can't imagine a whole season of that. i'd be suicidal.
Elektra 01-19-2006, 09:19 PM LMAO at Rip referring to Ben's hands as "baby mitts"
:D
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:20 PM yea ben got f'ed up on the dunk.
2nd half starting. if it's not a 20 point lead by the end of the third, i'm calling for blowing up the team and rebuilding.
i'm calling for Sheed in the All-Star three point shootout!!
LOL@J. Crawford's "defense"
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:43 PM the knicks look like a chicken with its head cut off with no real point guard. trade marbury for brevin knight at this point.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:44 PM i'm calling for Sheed in the All-Star three point shootout!!
he doesnt release his shot all that quick. and when he does its not as good. i think he'd timeout 8)
i'm calling for Sheed in the All-Star three point shootout!!

true. but how funny would that be seeing Sheed out there w/ Redd, Chauncey, and Ray Allen
ROFLMAO@ FRYE getting blocked twice!!
that was WallaceX2 at its best
OH. MY.
Tayshaun just owned the Knicks.
Pistons up 21 points.

metr0man 01-19-2006, 09:48 PM 3rd block foul call = bailout!
3rd block foul call = bailout!
no kidding. that would have been Sportcenter stuff.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:54 PM i think iverson woulda played tonite hurt. but marbury seems to care less than ever about playing hard. if they trade him for a real point guard they would be in business.
his flashy moves have wowed alot of teams before, but i always remember how much better his teams played when he was traded away.
Tay for three point shootout! :D
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:58 PM 4th quarter. they'll be in most of it.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:58 PM Tay for three point shootout! :D
i'd take billups. it would be funny if rip entered and won. :D
beating down the LB-coached team with three pointers.
there's irony there somewhere...
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 09:59 PM LOL@ Marv saying we are approaching Extensive Le Gar-Bage time
Tay for three point shootout! :D
i'd take billups. it would be funny if rip entered and won. :D
Rip does shoot a higher % :D
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:00 PM beating down the LB-coached team with three pointers.

shhhiiiiissshhh
it's kinda sad to watch an LB team playing such putrid defense.
Rip 11/16 FG.....good Lord.

"i like uncontested layups"
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:13 PM yea Del is turning funky homosapien us. maybe he should shoot off more screens if he can hit 'em that well.
yea Del is turning funky homosapien us. maybe he should shoot off more screens if he can hit 'em that well.
so he can shoot off the curl, shoot the three, play D, slash and dunk......why were we looking for a SF in the off-season again?? :D
H1Man 01-19-2006, 10:14 PM Billups is 1-7
Dyess is 2-10
beating down the LB-coached team with three pointers.
there's irony there somewhere...
shhhiiiiissshhh
you mean sssswwwwissssshhhh....
okthatwasbadiknow
The Knicks are playing so bad I'm having trouble watching.
Elektra 01-19-2006, 10:20 PM Delfino = beast!
Nice of the Knicks to allow Rasheed a sold week to set up for that 3.
metr0man 01-19-2006, 10:22 PM I expect this to be an anal raping of the highest order, with them being bloody and ashamed curled up on the floor whimpering.
the knicks aint gonna shit right for a week.
Knick fans cheering for Darko?
UncleCliffy 01-19-2006, 10:27 PM LOL@Knicks getting torn up by Dorko.
Elektra 01-19-2006, 10:28 PM It's that mustache! Darko has a pulse!!
:P
dude. Delfino is a high riser. he might be right behind Mad Max in attacking the rim.
How is Milicic getting his points?? Jumpers, post moves or dunks??
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:30 PM How is Milicic getting his points?? Jumpers, post moves or dunks??
the way he's more comfortable. jumpers. and one on a tip.
How is Milicic getting his points?? Jumpers, post moves or dunks??
first shot = goaltend on Knicks
second shot = near three pointer jump shot (his typical shot)
third shot = tip in rebound in traffic.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:31 PM dude. Delfino is a high riser. he might be right behind Mad Max in attacking the rim.
the old delfino is coming back. missed dunk level delfino. now its time for the next step in his evolution
dude. Delfino is a high riser. he might be right behind Mad Max in attacking the rim.
the old delfino is coming back. missed dunk level delfino. now its time for the next step in his evolution
that near throw down on Curry
oh no, Darko's gotta contest that one....he's not saving fouls for anything.
whoa, Maxiell really needs some help w/ his FT's.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:35 PM oh no, Darko's gotta contest that one....he's not saving fouls for anything.
no, he thought ariza was gonna dunk on him. though he's the only guy not focused, most coaches would kill for having 11 players focused like that.
LOL@ Maxiell trying to dunk it from a step inside the FT line, in traffic.
Elektra 01-19-2006, 10:38 PM 105/ 79
Wow!
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:38 PM beating down the LB-coached team with three pointers.
there's irony there somewhere...
quote of the night
H1Man 01-19-2006, 10:39 PM Wow. Darko actually took advantage of the garbage time.
JMax needs a shooting coach.
Black Dynamite 01-19-2006, 10:46 PM so are you fucks saving the alpacas for the playoffs?
Mikey 01-19-2006, 11:05 PM Jason Maxiell eats people.
UncleCliffy 01-19-2006, 11:10 PM Delfino was trying to dunk over the whole Knicks team on that one dunk.
Train Wreck 01-19-2006, 11:10 PM LOL@ Maxiell trying to dunk it from a step inside the FT line, in traffic.
Yeah, that was funny. Not gonna happen Max.
I really wish that delfino dunk went down. Would have been NASTY.
Atticus771 01-19-2006, 11:21 PM What a treat. We got to see our bench play decent minutes and actually produce, minus Maxiell. I'm looking forward to some more horrific blowouts and the display of our downright wicked bench.
Anthony 01-19-2006, 11:27 PM God the knicks SUCK!
That is a real bad team they have there
Nice of the Knicks to allow Rasheed a sold week to set up for that 3.
We said the same thing at our house! :laughing6:
Train Wreck 01-19-2006, 11:43 PM What a treat. We got to see our bench play decent minutes and actually produce, minus Maxiell. I'm looking forward to some more horrific blowouts and the display of our downright wicked bench.
I'm ALMOST ready to have Rip miss a couple of games just to be able to see Delfino play big minutes for a couple of games.
Darko outscored Chauncey....
http://www.pistonsbball.com/2005-06-game-log/game-37-pistons-vs-knicks.htm
game recap with video and box score :)
Koolaid 01-20-2006, 03:39 AM Does anyone else find it odd that Eddy Curry stayed in the game? that had to be some sort of message to Darko. If it was LB's attempt at shutting him down and making sure he didn't do anything all i have to say is.. haha!
And Nate Robinson is going to be amazing if LB can teach him to run the point well. The guy is strong enough to not be backed down by Billups in addition to being able to jump over small countries. All he needs to do is get a better feel for his team mates and he could be a top ten point guard in the league.
Glenn 01-20-2006, 08:34 AM Watching the Knicks + 2 doses of prescription cough medicine with codeine = watching 3 quarters of the game and not remembering one thing about it and off to bed before the 4th.
I seriously don't know WTF happened.
I hope I wasn't anally probed.
I hope I wasn't anally probed.
You kept on fucking squirming.
Also, I didn't read this whole thread, but did anyone mention Ben's utterly disgusting block of Robinson's layup? That was ne of the best blocks I've ever seen.
And of course TNT, ever alert, barely mentioned it. God I hate TNT. Every time Kerr's on we have to incessantly hear about the Bulls 72 win season. I loved the time when Steve-O busted out, "We went 41-5, actually we were 41-3 but we lost the last two before the All-Star break! VALIDATE ME!!!@#"
Then his ever-so-precious, "The Pistons don't have that one go-to guy" argument, explaining why the Pistons won't win 72. No, Stevie, we have 5, possibly 6 go-to guys. You fucking ass javelin.
I believe we have a Rasheed "bandwagon ass cats" situation here.
Are calling Steve Kerr an "ass-javelin" or are calling him both an "ass" and a "javelin"?
Artermis 01-20-2006, 09:50 AM I didnt think Chauncey really tried other than once or twice to really back him down and he tried from like 20 feet away. He could have taken him down on the blocks and had his way with the 5'9" Nate.
I love Frye's game. He can hit the long jumper and has a few moves around the basket.
If they could play 1 ounce of D they would be a playoff team. Curry got away with walking all night.
Darko actually looked like he wanted to play.
I love Delfino. I think he is an All Star in 4 years if they ever give him some solid minutes.
Art
Are calling Steve Kerr an "ass-javelin" or are calling him both an "ass" and a "javelin"?
The first one.
DeVry's English department apparently isn't up to snuff.
Lee looked, Bill Walton voice, "Horrible". That drive where he crossed the lane and then just handed the ball to Tayshaun was comical.
Train Wreck 01-23-2006, 01:31 AM I believe we have a Rasheed "bandwagon ass cats" situation here.
Are calling Steve Kerr an "ass-javelin" or are calling him both an "ass" and a "javelin"?
As Barkley once said,
"Steve, if you couldn't shoot.... You'd have no reason to be alive.
