Yeah, no joke evidently. Navarre was struck by a car in Chicago according to Coker, his best friend. he was in critical condition as of last night. His brother says "pray for the best, but expect the worst". I don't think they're making this up to be funny, not their style. Dude's been posting with us for 4 years, so while he's and "internet friend" he's still a true friend to a lot of us.
