View Full Version : Who do you want?
Koolaid 01-13-2006, 12:29 AM we've been bullshitting about darko trades and arroyo trades and whoever.
i think we all agree that the bench could be better. Who would help though?
these are the guys in the league i'd want on the bench.
Ricky Davis - i don't know if celtics would give him up, he's been the backbone of their team averaging over 40 minutes a game. He's got his head on straight though and shown he can be effective as well as flashy.
Ben Gordon - best player on the bulls, doesn't start because skiles is goofy. he got off to a bad start this year, last year he was the talk of the league.
Earl Boykins - energy and speed. his energy would carry to the bench. the guy has absurd heart.
outside of that i don't want anyone. no one else really interests me.

I'd like Davis actually. I think he is what we need off the bench - a selfish scorer who will attack the basket and make things happen. Would cost us Milicic though, but Boston would love to add the whiteboy.
Something along the likes of Darko Milicic, Carlos Delfino and Carlos Arroyo to the Boston Celtics for Rickey Davis and Delonte West(rich mans Alex Acker). If this trade is too homeristic, we could throw in a future first rounder draft pick I guess.
Taymelo 01-13-2006, 11:10 AM They wouldn't give up Delonte. They like him.
WTFchris 01-13-2006, 11:37 AM I've said it before, but a SF that can defend other wing players and knock down an open shot. That way Tay doesn't have to play a zillion minutes. Battier or Harpring would be ideal, but there would be other players like that too.
I think we have eough jump shooters - we need somebody that is willing to attack the basket and make things happen. When our offense is stagnant or our jumpers are not falling, you put in Davis and tell him to "git er done".
Glenn 01-13-2006, 11:42 AM "git er done".
Negative respect points.
GotCrotty? 01-13-2006, 12:30 PM Leandro Barbosa for Carlos Arroyo, Salaries don't match, but it can be done.
Varsity 01-13-2006, 03:05 PM Leandro can certainly hit the open jumper and create...not sure about his PHG abilities though.
Koolaid 01-13-2006, 04:15 PM I've said it before, but a SF that can defend other wing players and knock down an open shot. That way Tay doesn't have to play a zillion minutes. Battier or Harpring would be ideal, but there would be other players like that too.
What exactly is Harpring supposed to be good at again?

Harpring is a good defender, very good rebounder and solid outside shooter. Exaclty what we could use backing up Tay.

Darth Thanatos 01-13-2006, 10:08 PM You know what? I would love to have Ricky Davis on this team. He's the kind of thug nastiness that we needed on this team last year(and this year as well). Someone who wouldn't take any shit like Big Nasty did.
Pharaoh 01-14-2006, 01:58 AM Darko and Arroyo to Sacramento for:
Jason Hart - defensive minded PG
Corliss Williamson - expiring contract
Francisco Garcia - shooting swingman
Unprotected First
That pick is currently a Lotto pick BTW
If that's too much to ask for take out Garcia
kdawg32086 01-14-2006, 02:07 AM Ricky Davis is a straight up baller.

Black Dynamite 01-14-2006, 10:16 AM and after we got all these people we would complain about how unperfect they were and how we need someone else.

What exactly is Harpring supposed to be good at again?THANK YOU!
Artermis 01-14-2006, 03:19 PM I dont think I want a "supposed" trouble maker coming to the Pistons. They have enough attitude.
I would love Diaw. He can play 3 positions easily. He passes very well, can knock down the shot and can play SF. He can rebound. I just love his game.
He is 6'8". Man if he came in to play PG, we would have a huge guard combination.
Art
Cross 01-14-2006, 06:24 PM I wouldnt mind Gerald Wallace. He is playing so fucking well these days. Hell i think hes been playing great the whole season. He blocks, got 6 steals yesterday, and got 25 pts 16 rebounds yesterday..but its only one game. THe point is, he can flat out play. Of course if this were to happen it would be after todays game :)
Tap Tap the Chiseler 01-14-2006, 09:18 PM I've said it before, but a SF that can defend other wing players and knock down an open shot. That way Tay doesn't have to play a zillion minutes. Battier or Harpring would be ideal, but there would be other players like that too.
What exactly is Harpring supposed to be good at again? Beating the Pistons. For that reason alone we should try to get him.
