I love the commercial I especially love the music they chose to use and how it goes with the imagery. KG is the shit.

Funny, I think most new basketball shoes are hideous, but I think these are dope. Especially in black.

My wife liked the commercial a lot, so did I.

Being the ad nut that I am, I asked her if the commercial made her want to buy some adidas and she said, "no".

Then I told her that the commercial didn't do it's job then.

Of course, 32 year old women aren't the target demo, but I didn't feel the need to explain that to her.

I miss CB1's old commercial with the floor. I liked that one a lot, probably because we rarely see our guys in kick ass nationally televised commercials.

But Sheed's play with fire was by far the best in recent years.

The commercial while different is a rip off of Nike's commercials of the past several years.

Nike was the first to make it about everything else besides the shoe. It was about lifestyle.

Also, how ironic is it that the commercial opens up with KG leading some army into battle when he was villified in the media for the going to war with guns comments.

Commercial is decent, I don't agree with Gecko on stealing it from Nike though. Nike tries to do that, but there's are normally really dumb like that whole "Mask" thing. Over the last few years I think both Nike and Adidas have tried to take away from the court more...so I wouldn't say it was a Nike idea ripped by Addidas. Anyway, the shoes in black are pretty hot, the white and blue is really ugly and for $150, I'm not interested in either. I'll go find me some CWebbs for $36 bucks. Ewings anyone? (lmao)

I agree, those shoes are hideous. I don't know if I just have a Nike bias or what because the only basketball shoes I ever like are Nikes.

I think the commercial is pretty whack too. My least favorite part is that he's supposed to be a gladiator in that one scene and he's fighting 2 dudes. He has a huge sword, but for some reason he chooses to use his shield? :scratch: I'm sure it's the FCC not allowing swordplay and blood, but still, it ticked me off. :x

As bad as the shoes look, they are much better than those red/white And1's that they are hyping now.
