So this is huge. East meets West in a super big showdown. Are the choke-a-delic Flyers still holding a grudge from getting their asses swept in '97? Do we still like to bring it to Forsberg? Will they make us regret dumping Mike Knuble? Will we beat them and make Barry Melrose cry? Will we expose them for the frauds that they are? Lite Beer: "less filling" or "tastes great"?

Hopefully all of these questions will be answered tonight.

I can't help it....I hate Philly. They are doing much better than I thought they would, so I'm pretty bummed. I guess my thinking was that they certainly wouldn't get a healthy Forsberg all season...and they wouldn't go ANYWHERE with big, slow defencemen. I guess I miscalculated a bit....but it's still early. They could still work on impressing me by dissapointing the locals.

My prediction for the game tonight (based on nothing) is:

Detroit - 5
Philly - 3

Nope...it goes back way further than that. Sure, the Forsberg thing doesn't help...but it's a huge combination of things. Eric Lindros always pissed me off...especially when he refused to play for Quebec back in the day. He's partially responsible for Colorado being Colorado (back when they were handing us our asses. Actually, that's a story for another time.

Also, Bobby Clarke is a douchebag...Barry Melrose makes me hate them even more for predicting them to win The Stanley Cup every year as far back as I can remeber...."cheap shot" Jeremy Roenick played for this team and he can go right to hell.....the fans are fucked up for predicting a sweep up us back in '97 (ha ha)...and their coach looks like Captain Kangaroo....

FSN in my opinion does the best sports coverage and i love their announcers in every sport they sound great
im not even a fan of the SF Giants but i'll watch their home games on FSN Southwest because the broadcast is ridiculously good and Kuip & Krup are a great announcing team

I wish I got something other than Nashville Fox SPorts. Who cares about the Titans. I do get to see an occasional Red Wing game.

OLN is horrid. They look like they stepped out of the 80's with the post game report.
