Seattle SuperSonics guard Ray Allen and Orlando's Keyon Dooling were ejected for fighting during the second quarter of Wednesday night's game.

Allen and Dooling got into a scuffle with 10:53 left in the second quarter and Seattle holding a 33-24 lead.

After Orlando's Jameer Nelson missed, Allen pulled down the rebound and replays showed that he caught a glancing blow in the chin from Dooling forearm.

At the other end of the floor, the two collided as Seattle ran a set play and Allen appeared to give Dooling a short elbow to the chest before running along the baseline. Dooling went running at Allen and pushed him to the ground. Allen got up and tackled Dooling into the first row of seats along the sideline and onto some fans. The two briefly scuffled and television replays showed Dooling throwing a punch at Allen that did not connect. The two were eventually separated with Orlando's Stacey Augmon pulling Allen away from Dooling.

Underneath the stands, Dooling briefly ran toward the Sonics locker room and was seen yelling at Allen, but team officials and police kept the two apart.

After what happened at the brawl, I think they will both get a 5-6 game suspension along with a huge fine.

Possibly, but did they receive any techs? I would imagine they did but didnt say in the article.

I imagine they're going to come down hard on them, especially if they landed on some fans. Sad truth is, the most memorable moment of both the Supersonic's and Magic's season will be Jesus Shuttleworth sacking the Doolmeister. Crazy ass crackas.

Yep.

Both Allen and Dooling picked up technicals and Dooling also got a flagrant foul.

Sounds like Dooling will get more than Allen - he started it and was the only one to throw a punch, according to that article.

I don't think even the NBA expects Allen to sit there after being tackled to the ground. There's got to be some leeway given to him for Dooling's instigation.

It wasn't even Dooling that hit Allen on the rebound, at least according to ESPN. It was Augmon, and Allen just ended up being confused.

(Still waiting for someone to make the "bunch of punks" comment)

He should get into the Hall Of Fame just for still getting paid to play basketball. That and having the worst nickname in NBA history.

same reaction I had. I didn't know he was still an active player. When i heard his name it was mentioned as being the guy who broke up the fight. I thought it was odd that a member of the coaching staff would break up a fight.
