Ok, do I really think Michigan has a chance to win this game? No, not really. But, a Michigan team that was worse last year almost beat an Illinois team that was better last year. If Michigan comes to play and is healthy, they do have some good matchups in this game. Like I said, I'm not expecting a win (especially after their pathetic performance against Purdue Saturday) but I think it's within the realm of possibility. I also think it would be absolutely huge and just might be what it takes for Michigan to get a little respect and finally make it into the rankings. We'll see.

No expectations for this one, just a lot of hope.

I'll be pulling for Michigan in this one!!!

I still think Illinois is overrated and that Michigan (with a healthy Abram) can certainly beat them...but Assembly Hall is just a tough gym to play in right now. It's so loud, orange and dreary. The Illini have a ton of confidence in that joint.

Yeah, I guess this could be like hoping State beat Penn State in football. The enemy helping the other squad out. That's what early conference losses forces our teams to do. It's really quite creepy.

The question is - can Michigan's allegedly great (I'm not buying it) defense disrupt Dee Brown? Is anyone fast enough? Can they hit enough shots in the meantime to keep it from being a 51-45 game?
