I live in sunny SoCal (no surprise), and yes, I know NQ and the deadly Elektra, who is currently being rebuit to be faster, stronger, and expotentally more sinister than ever before.

I like the Lakers, but more the Showtime Lakers than the newest incarnation. I still think they have what it takes to make the playoffs, even despite this latest losing streak.

I did not go to USC, but I've been a fan of their football program for a long time, and had to suffer through Ted Tollner and Paul Hackett before Pete Carroll brought the glory back. He's brought fun and respect back to this program (the Todd MORONovich, roboQB from Hell, days are long gone). Practices are open, even a week before the Rose Bowl, to friends and family. After all, the players are still kids! We all keep forgetting that the Vince Youngs and Reggie Bushes and Matt Leinarts of collegiate football are "students", not pros, most not yet legal to drink (in CA, at least.. I dunno about Texas).

I used to be a huge hockey fan, until I could no longer pronounce 3/4 of the names of the players in the league.

I've always been a big Packer fan, only due to the fact that I own most books written about Vince Lombardi. The man coached 9 years in GB, and won five championships. Greatest Lombardi line, ever: "Dancing is a contact sport. Football is a hitting sport!" If you'd desperately like to succeed in life, all you need to do is study Vince Lombardi and the U.S. Army's Nine Principles of Military Warfare (not for war, of course, but to be utilized practically in business).

Of course, I'm a cartoonist, so the application of material like the above "principles" and The Art of War is limited. But for pure evil like Taymelo, it could be deadly.

Living in the shithole of Keizer, Oregon, watching the Blazers suck is just too painful. When I watched a fateful exodus go on, I decided to lurk around and watch the results with the help of kdawg. The board appears to be an overnight success. I decided to adapt to local custom, make myself a laughingstock, and earn respect in uncanny ways. (PS, Denny, I still haven't seen that $50. It was TWELVE FUCKING HOURS, for Christ's sake.) THen, as time went on, I developed closer relations to those I know on here. I now talk to all three George brothers (since Steven revealed the last name, I assume it's now acceptable) and occasionally MOLA when I feel like getting bitchslapped/asking advice/scoring pot/advanced philosophical diatribe. I take jabs and Denny and TK, but it's all a big love fest.

My birth name is Archie and I'm a 20 year old bum. It took me five years to graduate(04) high school and I haven't done shit since. I have no car, no job, no girlfriend, but plenty of freedom!
