It's well-known throughout the league that the Knicks are trying to trade Richardson. Denver might be a possibility because Nuggets assistant GM Jeff Weltman drafted Richardson, and the Knicks are interested in backup point guard Earl Watson. But their salaries don't quite match this season, and even though both are signed for five more years Richardson's contract is valued at $42.9 million compared to $29 million for Watson, making it difficult for the Nuggets to take back that much money, according to one NBA personnel expert.

according to hoopshype, Q makes:

2005/06: $6,858,500
$7,482,000
$8,105,500
$8,825,750
$9,352,500

the only guys w/ salaries that could match up are Arroyo, Evans, Delfino, and maybe Darko (some mix of them). of course, there's the fact that LB's in NY and we know he loves Delf and Arroyo. personally, i like Evans and Delfino, but i thought i'd throw Q's name out there for some discussion. whatchyallthink?

He's going to go somewhere, but it won't be here, IMO.

I just hope it happens soon, he's tying up a spot on my fantasy team's bench while I wait for him to get some PT and the freedom to go somewhere and start chucking again.

Makes too much to come here. He'd be an 8 mil backup. While he'd be a nice scorer off the bench, we'd have tons of trouble extending Ben/Prince/Billups.

Q-Rich is a garbage, no D playing, braindead chucker. I wouldn't trade Darko for him.

He's a young, thinner, smaller Antoine Walker. Can anyone make an argument to the contrary? Yeah, he and Carmelo in the same lineup is a GREAT idea. When Camby returns to the lineup, he'll average 8.3 OFFENSIVE rebounds per game.

Doesn't he have a bad back? Or am I just stupid?

Well, if diddy won't trade Darko for him, there really IS no reason to talk about this.

Padded numbers. Layups and fast breaks make that misleading. He's still shooting 23% from 3 pt range. By the way, Walker was a 44% shooter during his time in Boston last year. Thanks for trying though.

Quentin Richardson: Bothersome Back

Update: Richardson's back continues to be an area of concern for the Knicks; back trouble forced Richardson out of the lineup for the second half of New York's loss in Orlando Wednesday night, the New York Post reports.

Recommendation: At this point it is unclear whether or not Richardson will be available for Friday's game in Milwaukee.

Yeah. I thought so.

If he wasn't getting paid that much and didn't have a bad back, I wouldn't mind him, but he does so peace.

Thanks for trying though. You are really a dumb skut. Melo is not a 3pt shooter, he could have made layups the last 2 years when he shot poorly. Point is he is a smarter player and goes inside instead of taking dumb jumpers like he used to.
