What do you guys think of this place? I have to work here a lot and I frankly cannot stand the fucking place!

What the fuck is with all the motorcycles there? Wow...does that have a lot to do with Hockey! Next, it is Hockeytown but for fucks sake it is STILL IN DETROIT! You cannot get a Pistons game on in there without verbally smacking the shit out of the waitstaff.

I think the menu is a joke...the food portions suck. I usually get to eat there for free and I cannot imagine paying for food there EVER! You will get a portion that could not fill up a starving somolian.

I dont even know if I should bother touching the bullshit service there or the HIGH ASS Beer prices. I would love to see this place get some real competition. Because I cannot see how this place makes any money!

I haven't been there in a couple years. I was not impressed. I was the assistant kitchen manager at Gordie Howe's Tavern and Eatery and it was WAY better than Hockeytown. Better memorabilia, better food. The food wasn't good at Hockeytown, there wasn't much to look at, and the TV's weren't even great either. I heard it was suped up a lot, but haven't been there since that one time I went.

I've always refused to go there.

I'm not putting any money in Illitch's pocket when I don't have to.*

*exception, Little Caesars $5 pizzas

Ford rented out the place for the "Walk for the cure"

Maybe I didnt see all of it, but its a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I know theres more than than the first floor, but It was not how I imagined.

strange, its alot bigger than i thought it'd be. its way too expensive. but its a great location, and a good place to pregame at if you go to see the tigers or lions. assuming you have money to burn.

It must be a lot better now. When I went a few years ago they had regular TV's (probably 20-24 inch tube TVs) and that was it. The menu was pretty limited too.

I don't like that place at all.

You know what really pisses me off about that joint, though?

Is the fact that they don't show any damn games on the big dog outside. How sweet would it have been if they showed Piston games or Red Wings game on there during the playoffs?
