Is it just me or does today suck with no college football bowl games? Yeah we have the NFL, but all the play-offs scenarios are finished. What is everyone else's take :?:

I agree. Why no new years bowls though? Why tommorow?

Because Sunday is always NFL football. The networks paid billions to show that product.

I like it tomorrow....3 full days in a row of it.

No college football on New Year's Day really sucked. I'm an NFL fan, but it's tough when you root for the Lions. College football is a million times better. It really sucked not getting hyped about Michigan playing on New Year's Day. Oh wait, we had 4 losses and played in the jick.com bowl on December 28th. :banghead:

College football just seems to be at an all-time low. I've never heard so many radio shows talk about the pointless bowls they didn't care about and about how they had no clue when they were anyways. I love college football, don't get me wrong. But, it's almost like it's at its breaking point with fans. It feels like everybody is just more sick of it than ever. If my Spartans could just get a football team and we could get a playoff, I'd be dancing in the clouds. Thank God college basketball is here!

Im also kinda worried about the game cause Champagne is a tough place to play but State didnt get any worse than they were last year even with the loss of the 3 seniors and Illinois lost Williams and Head who were arguably 2 of their top 3 players from last year
