View Full Version : Miguel Tejada: Resident Douchebag
Shugadaddi 12-30-2005, 10:45 AM Players demanding to be traded....MUST GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC!
What the fuck is the deal here? Baltimore hasn't made the appropriate amout of trades and offseason moves to appease their superstar shortstop so he's quitting? I bet Baltimore thought they were not only getting an offensive superstar, but also a leader in the clubhouse. Oops!
The Detroit Lions aught to trade for this guy so that the cancer that's already in the locker room can spread.
Glenn 12-30-2005, 10:47 AM apparently, he and Big Papi are really tight, so he's trying to get himself moved to Boston
I can't believe that the Cubs were even considering trading Mark Prior for Miggy, even though Miggy is really good
Shugadaddi 12-30-2005, 10:54 AM Well Manny is really good too (at least when he bats), but it doesn't mean that I would want him on my team.
Artermis 12-30-2005, 11:13 AM Prior will never realize his potential. He is injury prone. I give him 2 more years before he has TJ surgery. The Cubs have enough starting pitching to deal him. They need a SS.
This deal makes great sense for the Red Sox too. They fill their SS hole with top 3 SS in the game (maybe #1) and he hits in front of Big Papi with Lowell behind Papi.
I dont see much offense let down, but more of a leader and less of a distraction.

Vinny 12-30-2005, 12:10 PM I'm so fucking sick of shit like this. He wanted the money, so he signed the big deal with Baltimore because they were willing to pay him more than anyone else, and then he doesn't like it there so he wants out??? FUCK YOU, Tejada. If you wanted to win, you should of taken less money and gone and played for the Braves or the Cardinals. Instead, you wanted to get paid, and you did. You made your bed, now fucking lie in it.
Shugadaddi 12-30-2005, 12:16 PM Well said.
VaginaFan69 01-02-2006, 04:11 PM plus tejada had a shitty season last year for someone who thinks he is top 10

Before upping with the Orioles, he was promised by the organization that they were going to fix the team. They've done nothing but fail him. I can see why he would be unhappy.
WTFchris 01-03-2006, 11:33 AM can we trade Pudge for him please? might as well swap whiners. too bad Baltimore wouldn't do it.
Anthony 01-06-2006, 01:58 PM Well, tigers are showing interest....

My only question is who would they give up?

Baltimore said NO when Boston offered Manny Ramirez, Matt Clement and Andy Marte. Just imagine what we'd have to give up for them to say YES.
WTFchris 01-06-2006, 02:13 PM I'd offer Pudge, Pena and Maroth. Take it or leave it. They'd probably laugh at me but too bad.
Maybe a MLB expert could better say what we'd give up.
I'd move Tejada or Guillen to 3B, Inge back to catcher, and hope Verlander is ready.

Not that the Tigers really have a shot, but Baltimore's probably hesitant to trade him within the division as well as taking on Ramirez's contract.

prior is amazing but is injured all the time. him and woods would be an easy 40+ wins between them for the cubs if they could stay healthy
Artermis 01-19-2006, 09:01 AM Tejada going no where.
Woods has MR written all over him.
Prior has career bust on him.
