Is anyone else suprised about the Rangers? They look like a playoff team this year....which would be the first time since 1997 for this team. Did anyone think that Jagr could ressurect his career? Did anyone think they could win with a rookie in the net?

How could this possibly happen?

The most shocking thing to me is that they are doing all of this without Ron Duguay.

Haha Glenn.

I am not surprised Jagr is coming back. The new rules make him so much harder to defend. He is a big guy who skates, shoots and passes well. He doesnt have to worry as much about clutching and grabbing.

This is more like when Gretzky was putting up 150-200 points every year.

Just wish they werent being pussies about the fighting.

Lundqvuist may be a rookie in the NHL, but go to http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0023372005.html

check out those stats this guy lit up the Swedish Elite League (filled with NHL Stars) last year best goalie in that league by far
and him and jagr + this new prucha kid are the reason for the Rangers recovery

on a side note Jagrs resurgence might have something to do with being surrounded by players from his own country....count em up its ridiculous

Yeah, that might have something to do with it. All I know is that besides Jagr earning his keep, I really enjoy seeing Marty Straka doing well. Speed kills.
