Frickin Sick...that's all I can muster at this time. NBA 2K6 has Rasheed Wallace's bald/gray spot on his head, 'nuff said.

The first thing you will notice is the visual quality of the games. They are fricking amazing and I think they will get better once the developers figure out how to use all the new features.

And the second best thing about the 360 is Xbox Live. The Arcade has some pretty cool (and addictive) games.

And the third best part is the backwards compability. There is nothing better than playing Halo 2 on Live with the 360. 8)

Mood's got it and Tre said they played a few games - NBA 2K6 and Project Gotham - the other day. Tre was in awe. I'll be seeing it myself Saturday. I'll report.

Yes, I am one of the fortuanate few with an XBOX 360 and I didn't have to wait overnight for it or pay a G on ebay for it. I actually had to wait a month to get it, due to Microsoft being jicks, but now that I have it hooked up to my 55" HDTV, I haven't left the couch, and I got no beef.

I had high expectations going in, and the 360 has exceeded them in every way. Here's the phrase that I've been throwing around. "The video game experience of a lifetime." To me, the most impressive thing about the 360 is that all of the games are in HD. You will have to have an HDTV to maximize the experience, but it's still solid on a regular TV. Also, when you buy a 360, (good luck with that) you automatically get an Xbox Live silver membership and a gold membership for a month. With the silver membership you are able to sign on to Xbox Live and dowload old school arcade games, game content, demos, exclusive movie trailers, etc. With the gold membership (which costs $7.95 a month), you are able to do all that is mentioned before, plus play the games online.

Now to the games. I currently have Madden 06, Project Gotham Racing, and NBA 2K6. Obviously the graphics are unparalleled. I keep telling people that they look better than regular TV due to the HD. Madden is a bit stripped down due to gettting it out for the launch, but it's still the best looking football game ever created. Wait until you see Brett Favre walk up to the line of scrimmage and you see the sweat rolling down his neck and the glare on his face. I was actually playing the Packers the other night, and as I saw that I really got scared for a sec. I was like, damn, that's Brett Favre, he's going to tear my ass up! The level of detail on the 360 is phenomenal. On Project Gotham Racing, I chose a yellow Lamborghini Diablo VT and decided to race through the streets of Las Vegas. I've been to Vegas twice, so I have a pretty good idea about what it looks like, and it was exact. All of the big casinos are there, looking spectacular such as the MGM Grand, Luxor, Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Excalibur, New York New York, etc. Plus, all of the correct signs are in the right places such as Rita Rudner at NY NY and Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo. But the thing that blew my mind was that when I go to Vegas, I stay at a little time share called the Carriage House. About 2 laps into the race as I drove right behind the Aladdin and I look to my right, and what do I see? You guessed it, the Carriage House, with proper colors and clear as day. Absolutely amazing! :thumbleft:

But by far, the most impressive thing I've seen on the 360 so far is NBA 2K6. The player models are perfect and look just like, if not better than real life. You can see the players dripping sweat in real-time and jerseys becoming sweat soaked. The jerseys move as the players move and player tattoos just as they are in real life. Tre came over to my house the other day, and he had to be his boy JRich and he went up for a dunk and threw it down. We had to see it again on the replay, so we zoomed in and we saw "SAG" on one forearm and "NASTY" on the other representing his hometown of Saginaw! Freaking sick! Also, special characteristics of players are also present. Like Polish mentioned earlier, let's take 'Sheed for example. He's got his scar on his left cheek, his bald spot on the back of his head, and he's rocking his old school Air Force Ones! Seriously, if you get a chance to get one, absolutely do it. It'll blow you away!

:notworthy: XBOX 360 :notworthy:

Alright, that's it, I'm hyped again after typing all of this. Back to the couch.

Well, I will finally have my 360 in the next couple days. Yes, I did the ebay thing. I preordered from Gamestop back in August, but will not receive my 360 through them in forever. I ended up just getting the core system on ebay for $355. I will just need to get the hard drive and component cables. I already have nba 2k6, madden, and Call of Duty. Now, I just need to find a hard drive, and some cables and I'm good to go.

I needed to bump this back to the top and tell you guys about my experience on the 360 today. To let you know up front, this is by no means me bragging or boasting, because everything mentioned in this thread I received from insurance due to a house fire. (Thanks Allstate! :thumbright: ) I just want to tell you all of the amazing things the 360 is capable of.

I sat down today and decided to play my Xbox 360 for the first time in a while and I heard you can plug your iPod into it, so I thought I'd try it out. So I plug in my iPod into the USB port on the 360 and fire it up. It turns on and I log onto Xbox Live for some Project Gotham Racing 3 action. They have a mode on there called "Online Career" where you take all of your cars and winnings you've earned offline and race against people across the country with their cars. So I'm racing online with my Lamborghini :iroc: on Xbox 360 in HD, on my 55" HDTV, with wireless controller in hand, listening to "Patiently Waiting" by 50 Cent and Eminem on my iPod as I race! :headbang: DOES VIDEO GAMING GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT? I don't think so!

Another thing that was cool was if you get a high enough reputation on the game, your races will be shown on "Gotham TV" under the "Gotham Heroes" heading. I decided to check out the #2 ranked racer in the world. So the race begins and I'm able to watch his race, switch the camera from one that rotates around his car, to inside his car, look left and right, as well as follow other cars in the race. I decided to go with the rotating cam for a while, and then I went into the inside the car view and I could see every detail on the dashboard of his Ferrari! It may sound a little wierd, but I thought it was freaking amazing! :toothy8:

Xbox 360 is the best video game system ever created! :director: If you get a chance, you have to get one! You'll be blown away!

Yeah, I've had my 360 for a little over a week now. The system is hot! If anyone has the 360, and wants to play me in a game of NBA2k6 hit me up. My gamer tag is DOPEYthePOPE. Also, me and a few of my friends are going to be playing in an online league, so if you want in just message me.
