why doesn't dupree get any playing time in minny?

he's playing less than ever.

i don't get it. he should be getting double the time he's getting out there.

it's a bad situation for him. his playing time keeps going down the more years he gets in the league. if it keeps going this way for him he could be forgotten about.

Minny just doesn't have time for him.

Wally is playing well, McCants can score, Hassell is their best defender and I wouldn't be surprised if Jaric is playing some SG/SF or Griffin slides over to SF sometimes as well.

That's life and too bad for Ronnie.

Maybe if we did a 2 for 1 trade and he was waived we could bring him "home" but until that time I wish him well.

Aren't there restrictions in the new CBA that prohibit "re-trading" for a player that you previously traded away?

If we wanted to trade for him we could get him.

If Minny waived him, he cleared waivers and wanted to come here we could get him as well

How do I know?

At the very bottom of Coon's FAQ he has a list of all the changes to the new CBA.

It states:

Players who are traded and then waived by their new team cannot be re-signed by their original team for 30 days (during the season) or 20 days (in the offseason) following the trade

Since he was traded ages ago those limitations no longer apply (or are just about to run out)

I thought I remembered reading that the Bulls wanted to trade for Antonio Davis to bring him back and the NBA wouldn't allow it.

If enough time has passed it seems it's OK.

I think the media got it wrong though.

They probably thought that if Davis was waived he couldn't return to the Bulls at all.

That's bullshit - it's 30 days.

I trust Coon more than some dipshit reporter.

Unless I completely missed something.

Check out the Coon FAQ and see if you can find anything else about this. If I'm wrong I'd love to know.

If anyone cares, he played 18 minutes today for the wolves. Shot a disappointing 3-8. 5 rebounds, 3 offensive boards, and a steal.

We'll probably see more of him
