with one week left of the NFL, is there any chance we can dig up the preseason predictions? I know I was dead wrong on Philly and Chicago, that is for sure.

Yeah well everyone was pretty much wrong on Philly. If McNabb doesnt get hurt with or without TO, I like Phillies chances of making the playoffs.

MOLA might be able to access it, but my old secret passageway into the original site is nonfunctional as of about a week ago.

There were no major suprises to me this year besides Philly and maybe Minny.

I am not shocked about the Bears. I knew they were going to be great on D, but it is like 2003 all over again (I think that was the year), everything that went right, went VERY right. Next year they come back down to earth.

I think I had this as my predictions:

Division Winners and Wildcards

New England
Cinci
Indi
Denver

Pitt
SD

Philly
Minny
Atlanta
Seattle

Carolina
Detroit or Dallas

That isn't too bad really. I had Indi over Atlanta (ouch) in the Superbowl and the Lions at 9-7 (ouch again).

TB we got robbed, GB we got robbed and Carolina we might have gotten robbed dependingon if Hanson makes the field goal.

Take those three games and the Lions are 8-7, not in the playoffs, but Mooch is probably still around.

Seriously, as bad as the Lions have played, the refs have screwed them harder than anything other than Mooch's practices.

It's time for the 3rd annual NFL prediction thread.

Here's a thread to post your playoff teams, confernece championship matchup/champs and Super Bowl matchup/champs. We always throw in your sleeper, your choker and the team with the worst record. To keep it local, top it off with your prediction for the Lion's record. This will be a fun thread to pull up after the season.

You can edit your picks until it's time for the season to start, then we will lock the thread.

Just a slight question for you, Dano.

How does Cincy win their division and still be your choker?

Nice dano, your choker gets to the playoffs?

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS? They have to win the divison first! J/K

I gave credit to Arizona in mine, even if it was due to lack of compition...

I copied mine from RealGM, so the format may be different:

Division winners
AFC East: NE
AFC North: Ravens
AFC South: Indi
AFC West: SD
Wild Cards: Jets, Denver

NFC East: Eagles
NFC North: Vikings
NFC South: Atlanta
NFC West: Rams
Wild Cards: Lions, Cowboys

Super Bowl:
Indi over Atlanta (over Eagles if TO plays)

Sleeper: Cinci/Cowboys
Choker: Steelers (even when Ward comes back, Bettis will wear down and Big Ben is no better than Joey in reality)
Worst: Titans/49ers
Lions: 9-7

AFC East:
Patriots (Until someone in their division proves otherwise.
AFC North:
Ravens (Putting the BORING back in football)
AFC South:
Colts
AFC West:
Denver (although I'll hate it)
AFC Wildcards: Cincy, Chiefs

NFC East:
Eagles (memo to T.O. : shut up and play!)
NFC North:
Packers (Favre will throw ALL YEAR LONG)
NFC South:
Panthers (This hinges on the running game)
NFC West:
St Louis (Still some fight left)
NFC Wildcards: Falcons, Lions

AFC Championship: Ravens over Colts (another heartbreak for Manning)
NFC Championship: Eagles over Panthers

Super Bowl: Ravens over Eagles

Sleeper: Zona
Choker (actual performance vs. expectations): Oakland
Worst: Oakland
Lions: 10-6

Funny thing is that I could look at this tomorrow and change my mind about everything. The Ravens are a huge question mark that has a defence that looks SWEET on paper. I'm also leaving out The Chargers. They should make it happen. LT will be healthier.

thanks M1. I was a little off. I guess I took the Ravens over Cinci, but I did have Cinci as the sleeper.

I said Seahawks vs Colts.

I picked Seahawks vs Cheifs last year.

I'm doing better this year.

Seconded....

The only shit I got right was leaving the Chargers off the list. Other than that, I managed to get every NFC pick dead wrong. REALLY dead wrong.
