I thought you were saying that people ahead of them took more shots, which would make sense, except people behind them take more shots as well.

I believe the point is that they are among the least in shots taken out of all candidates, ahead or behind (besides Rip). Could be wrong.

Or he could be showing that this team will always be underrated because they don't take as many shots as the all-stars, even if they are putting up almost as many points.

None of them are getting a lot of shots, but most importantly, none of them are complaining. That's why I love this team: they're ego-less.

actually rip is the lowest if you seperate point guards from shooting guards. it isn't fair to clump in SGs with the PGs, their roles are too different.


The only real exception is chauncey compared to the Jason Kidd and TJ ford. When you consider how much better he is at putting the ball in the hole you still wonder why he isn't putting way more though.


igoudala, artest and hill shouldn't even count though. hill and artest played in only a few games, and AI2 isn't even really an all-star candidate as much as he's a guy filling up the last empty slot.

wouldn't this be more interesting with their FG%'s and PPG in there too? shots per game don't mean anything without showing what they do with those shots. If you're a gaurd shooting close to %50, you better be jacking up a lot of shots.

So, players take more shots because they dont have the best supporting cast in the leauge like we do.

I disagree if any of the ball hogs on those teams were on the Pistons they would take that many shots.

Well on second thought maybe not, because Ben would jab them in the larynx and tell them to spread the ball around when he is ready to play in 3 weeks.

Seriously though, all those that shoot a lot, would do it no matter which team they were on. They need to jack up shots in order to feel better about scoring 25 a night.
