Still can't believe we're the back up game, and the 2nd game sucks thus far.

hah, great win today. if Rip wasn't so off, we would have beaten them by 20+ easily.

can't wait for the playoffs/finals......

I don't think we can expect anything from Rip when we play the Spurs. Bowen totally owns Rip. Even when is not in the game or covering someone else, Rip missed a few wide open shots.

Edit: Ben didn't have a block today. I think that ended his streak of 1 block and 1 steal games at 150+. Someone care to check the record for us?

Evans gimped a dunk

Delfino got swallowed by Spurs

Developing these fuckers and we'll negate the Spurs bench (Lindsey and Dale are fine).

A win's a win.

Boy, from the stats, the Pistons look like the title favorites. Holding the Spurs to 70 points (minus Ginobili though) still looks extremely good. Better than most of the other teams can say.

The DET bigs showed that when focused, are still the best frontline in the NBA.

R. Wallace = 6-15 shooting, 14 points, 2 blocks, 1 steal, 1 assist, 6 boards
T. Duncan = 9-20 shooting, 18 points, 1 block, 2 steals, 1 assist, 11 boards

another note is that rasheed played only 29 min, and TD played 38 min.

How talented is rasheed really? Watching this game i thought of what i think is a good drescription of rasheed. tim duncan with incredibly accurate 3-point range would be the best way i could describe his game.

Rasheed, if he wanted to, could have been one of the best PF's of this generation. He had all the talent, the physical tools and the skills but he just didn't have the mind-set to use his talent to the fullest.

I agree, Rasheed could easily have been the best PF in the league for the last 10 years if he had Tim Duncans head on his shoulders, because he has more talent than Timmy has, just takes himself out of games too much with his mouth.
