I hope everybody has a great holiday.

It's nice to get this site back as a little present.

Cheers!

We're already opening gifts and I got three reference books. Good? Bad? A sign of things to come? I hope not.

When my brothers and I were little, we were travelling with our parents to our grandma's house for Christmas, singing xmas carols along the way. We had a big blue van which had a CB radio. My mom thought it would be funny to listen to the truckers, so we did and we heard one say, "I wish there was no fucking Christmas."

Don't worry.

I'm sure you'll get that hand-knit cable neck sweater in the next box!

Random thought:

Will someone please tell Bill O'Reilly that Hanukkah falls on the same exact day as Christmas this year, so he picked a bad year to pretend that people are "attacking Christmas" by saying Happy Holidays, as a means of avoiding all the bad news about republicans that FoxNews would NEVER even pretend exists?

He couldn't pick a year when Hanukkah is on December 3rd, or something?

You are truly blessed.

Watch. Repeat.I just finished watching it. I loved every minute.

The film is an excellent portrayal of the business problems of the middle class, fueled by breathtaking performances from one of the best casts I've ever seen. Very underrated.

The film changed my life. It made me realize I don't have what it takes to be a salesman. No coffee for me.

And that's fine with me. Coffee is pretty delicious at first, but it gives me a headache an hour later, plus you spend all your time in the pisser, and end up washing your hands and they get dry so you have to put on lotion, and lotion is only for pussies.

Excellent film.
