According to @betonline_ag, the betting odds on the #Pistons to make the playoffs this season:
Yes: +600 (6/1)
No: -1000 (1/10)
Glenn 12-09-2020, 04:37 PM Might be a pretty easy chance to make a dime on every dollar?
Uncle Mxy 12-10-2020, 07:43 AM I don't know the new core enough to know if I'll find them like-able or even watch-able.
Every player here seems to have a good reason why they're more "bench" than "starter".
I have to see how this plays out in real games and meaningful minutes.

So you're sayin' to put a grand on Yes

When he's set it doesn't look too bad.
Killian Hayes could be very good if he figures out the shooting. I'm still not sure about Doumboya.

Bey has Stanley’s jump shot. At least from where he starts it. Low. Chest area.
Difference is that Diq’s goes in.
Tahoe 01-12-2021, 05:47 PM Early on I was thinking I’d rather have Wood for 13m than Grant for 20.
Fuck that. Woods is Hardens bitch. Grant does work on his own.
Edit... Woods ain’t his bitch. Harsh but he just plays second fiddle to him too much.

Yeah, that might have been what I saw, it was preseason....looked exactly the same but the going in part's a huge help.

I just got a bad, bad vibe from Wood. Seemed like a culture killer.

Might’ve been the worst of Weavers trades?

Again, I agree with Tahoe.
Tahoe 01-13-2021, 05:54 PM How you doin Mxy?

I'm living. I'd feel better if the NBA could play some real games. Everything since COVID-19 feels like a bad dream. This season is a little better, but still no crowds, no stadiums, could be a Summer League/G-League conference.
Tahoe 01-14-2021, 05:11 PM Good to hear.
I’m just glad there’s sports on. That was brutal for me. Luckily I was pretty busy but still sucked.
Tahoe 01-14-2021, 10:15 PM Wood just went off.
Detroit rags made it out like he wanted a ton of money. 13m isn’t a ton of money deez dayz. Should’ve tried to keep him???
I liked Wood and still do (no homo).
He already fit the team both age, position and talent (developing) wise. Letting him go is even worse with how much they spent to bring in the core of journeymen-at-best talent they have at the 5. Made no sense and the fact that the reports of the signing at the time seems to indicate that the Pistons didn't know what he wanted, in terms of an offer, and then watched him sign a very tolerable contract in a sign-n-trade is the biggest mistake of the offseason from Weaver, IMO. That's counting the dumbass dead money stretch provision mistakes he made rather than get rid of some of the fleet of nobodies that were included in his offseason trade-o-palooza.
Otherwise I've generally been happy with Weaver.
Also, this is the easiest Piston team to watch in a long time as there's reason to be optimistic, incentive to be bad this year and the alcoholic, brother's wife fucking, vulture capitalist owner isn't going to be doing drunk selfies at the timeline after a win (mostly because there will be so few of them). And Saddiq Bey is a gentleman and a scholar.
