So Houston is the turning into the 2004 Timberwolves or the the 1997 Rockets

Glenn

Pistons sold Darrun Hilliard to Houston, too.

Glenn

He's going to LA

How will Paul and Harden even work?

Would love to get Beverley from the Clips somehow, though

How will Paul and Harden even work?
CP3 will defend and Harden won't.
Simple. LOL.

How will Paul and Harden even work?

Harden and Rondo would work much better obvs.

I think CP3 and Harden works fine. Harden is more naturally a 2 guard anyway and Houston has be far too single dimension since Howard didn't work out. Also, D'Antoni gets a real PG for his offense. And they don't lose any defense since CP3 is better than Beverly on that side as well.

Beverly is known as a defensive specialist, right? I know that CP3 always racks up the steals, but is he really better defensively at this point?

Was talking about Beverley?

Glenn
07-02-2017, 01:58 PM
Meaning Beverley is regarded almost exclusively for his defense.

Fool

Yeah, lol @ "specialist" compared to a guy who's been on the all-defensive team 9 times.

Most injury prone 32 year olds are not as good on defense as they were when they were younger and not injury prone.

Beverly's games played the last 4 seasons (wasn't called up his first year until January and didn't start during the regular season)
56, 56, 71, 67
The injury prone guy
62, 82, 74, 62

I'm owned, you win. Nice work.

You may have won this time, Fool, but Patrick Beverley doesn’t give a damn what you think of him, his team or his game (http://www.espn.com/blog/houston-rockets/post/_/id/3324/patrick-beverley-this-year-im-the-best-defender-in-the-league).

Uncle Mxy

I'd rather have Beverley on my team than RJ. I'd suggested trading for him, not imagining that he could be used as the cornerstone in a trade for CP3.

Only Knockout is s'posed to give out beatdowns like the one Fool laid on Glan.

How sad is it that the article title that I posted made me think of Tim doing a fake Kstat post? Wonder what Bill Davidson would think about that!!

Timone

Do I need to remind you of the amount of shit Bill Davidson owes you?
