View Full Version : CHRIS PAUL TRADED TO HOUSTON Glenn 06-28-2017, 12:02 PM YOUR THOUGHTS, PHAROAH? MikeMyers 06-28-2017, 04:19 PM So Houston is the turning into the 2004 Timberwolves or the the 1997 Rockets Glenn 06-28-2017, 04:37 PM Pistons sold Darrun Hilliard to Houston, too. Glenn 06-28-2017, 09:21 PM He's going to LA Timone 06-28-2017, 11:32 PM How will Paul and Harden even work? Timone 06-28-2017, 11:43 PM Would love to get Beverley from the Clips somehow, though Uncle Mxy 06-29-2017, 03:25 AM How will Paul and Harden even work? CP3 will defend and Harden won't. Simple. LOL. Glenn 06-29-2017, 05:57 AM How will Paul and Harden even work? Harden and Rondo would work much better obvs. Fool 07-01-2017, 10:56 AM I think CP3 and Harden works fine. Harden is more naturally a 2 guard anyway and Houston has be far too single dimension since Howard didn't work out. Also, D'Antoni gets a real PG for his offense. And they don't lose any defense since CP3 is better than Beverly on that side as well. Glenn 07-01-2017, 11:05 AM Beverly is known as a defensive specialist, right? I know that CP3 always racks up the steals, but is he really better defensively at this point? Fool 07-02-2017, 01:21 PM http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/paulch01.html 2007-08 All-Defensive (2nd) 2008-09 All-Defensive (1st) 2010-11 All-Defensive (2nd) 2011-12 All-Defensive (1st) 2012-13 All-Defensive (1st) 2013-14 All-Defensive (1st) 2014-15 All-Defensive (1st) 2015-16 All-Defensive (1st) 2016-17 All-Defensive (1st) lol @ "specialist" Glenn 07-02-2017, 01:57 PM Was talking about Beverley? Glenn 07-02-2017, 01:58 PM Meaning Beverley is regarded almost exclusively for his defense. Fool 07-03-2017, 10:38 PM Yeah, lol @ "specialist" compared to a guy who's been on the all-defensive team 9 times. Glenn 07-04-2017, 08:57 AM Most injury prone 32 year olds are not as good on defense as they were when they were younger and not injury prone. Fool 07-04-2017, 10:56 PM Beverly's games played the last 4 seasons (wasn't called up his first year until January and didn't start during the regular season) 56, 56, 71, 67 The injury prone guy 62, 82, 74, 62 Glenn 07-04-2017, 11:23 PM I'm owned, you win. Nice work. Vinny 07-05-2017, 12:15 AM Congrats, Fool. Glenn 07-05-2017, 09:34 AM You may have won this time, Fool, but Patrick Beverley doesn’t give a damn what you think of him, his team or his game (http://www.espn.com/blog/houston-rockets/post/_/id/3324/patrick-beverley-this-year-im-the-best-defender-in-the-league). Uncle Mxy 07-05-2017, 01:15 PM I'd rather have Beverley on my team than RJ. I'd suggested trading for him, not imagining that he could be used as the cornerstone in a trade for CP3. Timone 07-05-2017, 06:15 PM Only Knockout is s'posed to give out beatdowns like the one Fool laid on Glan. Glenn 07-05-2017, 06:48 PM How sad is it that the article title that I posted made me think of Tim doing a fake Kstat post? Wonder what Bill Davidson would think about that!! Timone 07-05-2017, 07:08 PM Do I need to remind you of the amount of shit Bill Davidson owes you? MikeMyers 07-05-2017, 09:46 PM Sad failing Glan got laid out by the successful and dominant Fool Timone 10-20-2017, 06:26 PM http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/21093250/chris-paul-houston-rockets-expected-miss-two-four-weeks-bruised-left-knee |
