I was close to getting a cheap scalpy special and driving to the game -- figured it'd be a ghost town with this weather shitstorm.
But, some friends of mine invited me to a pot roast and I was spared this Pistons shitstorm (though I got to hear about da Lions).

Are there actual events called 'Pot Roasts'? I mean I know what a pot roast but do people have like pot roast parties kind of like Pig Roasts?

I dunno. It seemed to make sense when I wrote it, but it wasn't exactly an "event".
I was just happy I didn't have to cook or pay for the food. So, it's like finding money.
