What "team rule" did Johnson violate?

Detroit Pistons forward Stanley Johnson will not play tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Palace.

Johnson has been suspended for violating team rules, said Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy.

Johnson would likely have been an option off the bench for Reggie Bullock, who the Pistons announced earlier today has a serious left knee injury that may require surgery.

“He would have been (an option), but he’s not going to be with us tonight,” said Van Gundy of Johnson’s status at the pre-game presser. “We suspended him for tonight. So he won’t be here – he won’t be an option tonight.”

Van Gundy would not elaborate further on Johnson’s suspension apart from adding, “team rules … violation of team rules.”

No $6 windfall for me this time. I went solo and spur-of-the-moment after helping a buddy with a Black Friday purchase that was a PITA. I was asked if I was going, replied "no, but why the fuck not!" and 15 minutes later had a ticket I was happy with. The biggest drawback was moving down a buncha rows to sit next to some hot bitch who wanted Blake Griffin's love child -- more like a bitch in heat. Not in my house! I really think the Clips overdid it on the Thanksgiving turkey. Highlight for was seeing Hilliard come in and actually make plays... loved the and-1 at the end! Maybe it'll give Stanimal a wakeup call.
