USC football coach Sarkisian is a drunk.

You gotta be a hard core drunk to get blitz on the 1st day of work.
Apparently his wife is leaving him now that he makes tons of cash and works back in California. Unless she's allergic to sunshine and the easy life, it's probably not a good sign that guy's wife want out while he's supposedly at the peak of his career.
Cowherd loves Sark and the Pac-12, wonder what he'll say.
Timone 08-24-2015, 10:01 PM I miss the college football guys.
Running them off is the biggest mistake of Glan's life.
Glenn 08-24-2015, 10:41 PM Czaban loves Sark, too.
Astonished how many bad views Czabe has for being so good at radio.

Sounds like Sark would be on Moeller's 2nd string drinking team though.
Moeller was a better coach than Carr except in hiding his drinking. Poor Molely.

Timone 09-03-2015, 06:43 PM You guys hit up Walmart yet?
Tahoe 09-03-2015, 08:10 PM This the game thread? Not that I have any energy to post tonight, but just wondering.
Glenn 09-26-2015, 02:07 PM My Chips keeping things interesting vs Sparty.
I remember back in the early 90's when we beat them two years in a row, LOL!!!
Glenn 09-26-2015, 02:40 PM Damn, Sparty getting dominated in every way except the score

@BruceFeldmanCFB
Am told by multiple sources Steve Sarkisian showed up in no condition to work today & #USC brass knows he needs serious help.
@ArashMarkazi
Haden called Sarkisian shortly after 1pm. "It was clear to me that he's not healthy and I asked him to take an indefinite leave of absence."
Haden is the USC athletic director.

Tahoe 10-11-2015, 09:40 PM Pretty sad. Not that I don't have a beer now and then.
People are pissed at Haden. His previous hire was Lane Kiffin who is one of football's longest running jokes and rode his father's (Monte Kiffin) name to the being the youngest head coach in NFL history (Raiders, last 20 games before Al Davis fired him and won an arbitration hearing that allowed him not to pay out the rest of Kiffin's contract), then the youngest head coach in NCAA div 1 football (Tennessee, who he ran out on in literally in the middle of the night (http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/outkick-the-coverage/story/the-night-lane-kiffin-bolted-tennessee-an-oral-history-072914) after one season), then to USC who hired him because he was co-OC during the Pete Carroll era. Kiffin was actually good while coaching Carroll's last two recruiting classes (and while USC was under sanctions) but once USC got bowl eligible accomplished the ignominious achievement of coaching the first team since 1963 to start a season ranked #1 and finish it unranked (the team that did it in 1963 was also USC, lol). Kiffin's co-OC under Pete Carroll was none other than Steve "one more for the road (loss)" Sarkisian.
So yeah, Pat Haden doesn't appear to have many ideas and has run the Pete Carroll era into the ground.
Tahoe 10-12-2015, 08:48 AM He was hired to clean things up, iirc. And it seemed like he did, but how could he NOT know dude had a drinking problem when its that bad? They scrutinize the shit out of players but I guess coaches get a pass.
There was a coach that effed up in Arkansas too a while back. Don't think he even took the field.
Timone 10-12-2015, 03:55 PM Florida suspended their QB for the season.
Timone 10-13-2015, 12:00 AM Matt Leinart would be an awesome fit as USC head coach!
Clean things up? Carroll cheated and then left = clean up. Pretty easy job.
Timone 10-13-2015, 01:31 PM Spurrier really livin' up to the Spur part of his name, amirite? #DONE
Timone 10-13-2015, 10:59 PM Anyone watch that 30 for 30 on USC? Snoop Dogg is such a bootlick.
Glenn 10-17-2015, 12:48 PM - "I really think Jeff Fisher could have a similar impact at USC that Harbaugh is having at Michigan"
I like Fisher.
Where's my Pitt thread? They squeezed out a nice win today to stay undefeated.
(Oops, 5-1. I don't remember who beat them.)
USC's about to be former AD who hired a drunk to coach USC football, after he hired and fired Lane Kiffin lol, and then replaced the drunk, after an "exhaustive national search" lol, with the guy already holding down the temp coach job, for the second time lol, is paying himself and his family millions to run a 60 year old scholarship fund charity with no employees, whose endowment was begun by a literal snake-oil salesman, into the ground and is funneling the rest of the cash to USC (not lol).

I call that headline the Muhme special.
