BACHMAN WILLIAM A. (BILL) 94, passed away January 7. 2015. Bill was born January 21, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to Jacob and C. Myrtle Bachman. He graduated from Denby High School and went to work for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. He enlisted in the Army through the company. He was very proud of his Service during WWII in the North African and European Theater with the Signal Corp. After his return from the war he married the love of his life, Elizabeth E. (Betty) Rittinger. They were married nearly 58 years. He continued to work for Michigan Bell and retired from service after 42 years in 1979. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty (2003) and his son, William D. (Bill) Bachman (2005). He is survived by his daughter, Barbara; son, Jack; and grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsea. Arrangements by Brown and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209. Private Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th Street NW.
