Are you fuckin kidding me? I thought Ben was great, but that was the most underachieving bunch I've ever seen put together. And CBill was probably the reason. 1 friggin championship and some peeps want their numbers retired. What a fuckin joke.

Ben's 4 DPOYs get his # retired eventually, even with his Bulls-hit.
Chauncey, I'm less certain about. His biggest individual achievement was Finals MVP, and that was mostly because his opponent was a washed-up discombobulated Gary Payton.
It seems weird to honor him without the 2004 Finals starting 5 (or Leisuresuit Larry Brown, for that matter).

Ben was the heart of the defense, billups was the heart of the offense. They would get my choice as the two most worthy on that roster. However, I would rather that whole starting five get their own thing, something new like their own banner or something. Still when rodman and microwave are up there its hard to say they aren't worthy of the same personal accolade.

2 wrongs don't make a right.
Micro shouldn't have his number retired. Bad Boys won when there were 3 other teams that should've won. And BB won 2.
Chauncey Billyboy was a player who bounced around and once he won a title, he lost his drive. He should NEVER have his number retired, imo. He was the reason we didn't win more titles.
Cuz a team wins a title they need to retire numbers? wow.

I'm with ya on vj. Couldn't disagree more about billups preventing titles though.
