I mostly agree with Tahoe.

If the alternative is to pay Moose a max contract, I say trade him.
I like him, but he's not worth the max.
Other than having a somewhat better jumper, he hasn't really improved in his time here.
We've had some decent big-man coaches in that time, too.

We will need our PF or 2nd big to average over 20pts a game. Those might be hard to come by though.

smith Monroe and a 1st for love? why? love is an awesome player I'd love to have. but we need perimeter studs if we're going to win a title. or even go far in the playoffs. that team isn't going to get it done. plus, why on earth would love want to come to Detroit? he'd just leave in FA next year, since he wants to be in Cali on a contender... that would be a dumb trade.

We don't need 1st round picks anymore, right?
