Bought 15 lbs of pork shoulder at Costco on Saturday. I will make it happen

Half / half with some beef top round, ground up for burgers

Slow roasted in slow cooker or oven (slow cooker seems to work better for me - easier)

Butt fuck the weather.

Baby Back Ribs smoked for 5 hours today. Sad thing is that I'm not a huge rib fan so everyone else at them. I did make skirt steak tacos too.

Tonight I went to a BBQ at a friend's place.

Made some BBQ sauce for ribs on Wednesday. Turned out far too sweet, but even mediocre homemade sauce is better than store-bought. No smoker, so these ribs will be a two-hour job on the grill.

I need to get a smoker.

I only went there once and wasn't that impressed but that was like 3 years ago. It could be better now. The lineup is Bad Brads and Red Smoke. Slows is all hype. You order brisket over there and you get a big piece of fat.
