Had high expectations for the Pistons and they let me down.

I bought into the whole 'Lions are talented' thing and they sucked. But first they had to get a 2 game lead while opposing teams 2 starting QBs were hurt. Still couldn't even make the playoffs.

Wings and that Chicago thing last year still sux. Hard for me to even watch them.

UofM had a great recruiting year so I thought that mo would carry into the season. Nope.

Thats why I'm glad I'm in the Green tent. Nope can't go there.

Here's how bad it is...I feel great about the Niners losing. I should just want my teams to win. But no, I want the area team to lose so I can find some comfort in their misery. I have company.

When I first thought about commenting on this I had thought to mention that I still had hope for the Tigers and Wings. Then the Wings laid that egg last night. Granted they've got 5 of their top 8 players out right now but I'm not sure they have enough size and scoring for the next few years. Tartar is a beast and Jurco looks to be the real deal. Glendenning is a badass and the other kids show good fight most of the time. But other than Tartar none show they can be consistent offensive threats. This is not theory unfortunately. The scoreboard over the last four games has shown me this.

I'm holding on to hope for the Tigers.

I have a little hope for the Lions. Just a little. But that's not rational. That's the natural masochism of being a Lions fan.

I have as little or less hope for the Pistons. I watch them play those crappy halves and games and can't believe Joe hasn't left on his own let alone getting fired. I think about Gores and I can only hope I'm wrong about having zero faith that he'll find better than Dumars.
