I'm against tanking... am not against not actually trying to win games... and there is a difference.

Look at Philly. Look at Charlotte. Look at the Thunder, look at Orlando

This idea that you can "rebuild on the fly" and remain competitive is bullshit... cause we haven't been competitive for a long, long time. We've been mediocre at best, a treadmill team.

The "rebuilding on the fly" failed with BG and CV and it's took years to overcome that. I'm hoping the Smith/Jennings additions haven't set us back that long but so far, no good.

As for Dumars - fucker should have stepped aside this past off-season so Gores could have got Hinkie or McDonough to come in and build around Drummond and Monroe. We had a top 10 pick and plenty of cap space...and if that GM was successful people could always say "Joe laid the foundation for that"... and the losing it took to lay that foundation would have been mostly forgotten.

IF we miss the playoffs Joe's likely fired. IF we miss the playoffs and lose our pick to Charlotte, Joe's likely fired. If he's not I'll fucking stop caring about the Pistons.

It's been a long fucking rebuild and I really have no time and no ties to the organisation...
