View Full Version : OGT: 'vens vs. 'ons on Monday Night Football Timone 12-12-2013, 03:33 PM Ready for some football, you guys. I predict a tie. Timone 12-12-2013, 03:34 PM And at least 3 interceptions apiece for Statscco and Statsford. Glenn 12-12-2013, 06:05 PM I predict I won't be watching DrRay11 12-13-2013, 09:37 AM I have an upset stomach already. Timone 12-16-2013, 06:14 PM Going to be a stinker, but still stocked. DrRay11 12-16-2013, 06:21 PM Welp after the Buckeyes and my fantasy football teams worth any money collapsed, an 'ons playoff berth would be pretty nice. I don't have high hopes. Timone 12-16-2013, 06:36 PM Slay and Houston doubtful? Bombs away, Joe. Timone 12-16-2013, 11:36 PM I fucking HATE field goals, but I love Justwin Tucker! Timone 12-16-2013, 11:37 PM THE CHAMPS!!!! Timone 12-16-2013, 11:38 PM Offense fucking sucks, BUT I LOVE THIS TEAM!!! Vinny 12-16-2013, 11:38 PM LNTAATNQB Timone 12-16-2013, 11:43 PM Sorry, you guys. Timone 12-17-2013, 12:02 AM Check this guy out lol @det_sports_nut Timone 12-17-2013, 12:04 AM The unintelligent Jew Jim Schwartz has the raisin balls like the Mexican dog shit Tito Santana. Tahoe 12-17-2013, 02:03 AM Some of you have to see the failure that is Stafford. You must. Also, congrats T! Watched the game with a bud and by the end, I was pulling for the Ravens. We aren't going anywhere with this QB. Never ever. Tahoe 12-17-2013, 04:58 AM We are pathetic. Seriously one of the worst franchises I can remember. I've been bouncing around the net tonight and at least, AT LEAST, peeps are on Staffords ass. Some still think Shorts is throwing the interceptions, but of course there are going to be idiots. Most of the peeps are on Staffords ass. Finally! The next coming of Joey Harrington. DrRay11 12-17-2013, 09:18 AM 3rd and 2 and empty backfields. What the actual fuck? I expect about 15-20 ints from Stafford. We're stuck with him the next few years regardless, but the whole coaching staff can probably piss off. I actually like Gun a little bit, though. Defense has been fine most of the year with the talent they have (or don't have in the secondary). Linehan, though... smh. DrRay11 12-17-2013, 09:30 AM I'm 100% sure Linehan needs to go, 80% sure Schwartz needs to go, and 40% sure Stafford might not want it enough to be great in this league. Tahoe 12-17-2013, 12:47 PM What the fuck is Stafford thinking? Obviously, he isn't thinking. He's horrible. Horrible decisions, mechanics and catchable balls. He's an idiot. Mayhew should never have been hired. He had the stinch of Millen on him, but Ford is so old and senile, he listened to him, MM, and hired him. Mayhew must just laugh that he got the job. Tahoe 12-17-2013, 12:50 PM These players are all making a ton of dough. They are the ones on the field. Stafford is so imobile, its pathetic. He ran out of the pocket and avoided a lil bit of pressure. He could have stopped, set and thrown to a wide open Durham, but since he as ZERO pocket awareness/presence, he ran full speed to the sideline like a pussy and threw some bullshit sidearm sling bullshit pass that went incomplete. He constantly throws into the line of scrimage getting balls batted down. And did I mention poor decisions and mechanics? Tahoe 12-17-2013, 12:52 PM Fans set the bar sooooooo fuckin low for Stafford. DE 12-18-2013, 01:35 AM Stafford's regressed so much. He was horrible yesterday. He was behind the receiver on just about every throw. And for some reason everything had to be zipped at high speed. He had no touch on anything. If he'd have lofted the ball on the 2 point conversion he'd have given CJ a much better shot. Stafford's been a huge part of what, at least two or three losses of the last 4. (One note and no excuse: the Lions are leading the league in dropped passes. Calvin had two and Reggie another one yesterday. All three were big plays too, not just little dumps.) But it's not about setting the fucking bar low Tahoe. John Fox got to a Superbowl AND almost won it in a shootout with Jake Delhomme. He won a playoff game with Tebow. Let me say that better: He beat the fucking Steelers in a playoff game with fucking Tebow as his fucking QB. Look at Russel Wilson and Kapernick versus RGIII. You don't think good coaching played a role in that? Look at what Andy Reid has been able to win with Alex Smith. Look at how much better Brees plays with Peyton coaching him. Look at what Bellichick got in one year with Cassell. I think Favre is the successful QB that Stafford, though not as good (hopefully yet), most closely resembles. Mike Holmgren definitely played a part in that success I would think. Holmgren played a part in Steve Young's success and got the most out of Hasselbeck. Stafford might end up being a huge disappointment. I honestly have no clue. I do know he has the arm and he as no fear trying to get the ball into tight spots. I know that he's still really young and could still be developed. I especially know that he won't be developed or have the best shot at success with this coaching staff. DE 12-18-2013, 01:40 AM Yesterday was my first Monday night game in maybe 30 years. The last one I remember going to was 85 when the Lions, sucking of course under Darryl Rodgers, actually came close to beating the at-the-time undefeated Bears. I don't remember an atmosphere in the city like the time before the game. I don't remember ever seeing so much Honolulu Blue worn ever. The place was ready to explode from the beginning. The Lions killed that but what killed it even more is TV. All those fucking commercials kill the atmosphere. They kill watching a game live for me more and more. Someone should burn in hell for inventing the score, commercial, kick-off, commercial sequence. Add the price of tickets and the cost of anything there ($9 for a beer) and I don't think I would continue the family tradition of Lions season tickets. Tahoe 12-18-2013, 03:19 AM Stafford's regressed so much. He was horrible yesterday. He was behind the receiver on just about every throw. Thats him, bro. |
