Granted I'm a jaded Detroit fan, but a team that's made the ALCS three years straight with one WS appearance, the games top hitter and two of the top ten (?) pitchers in the league hires a new coach and both ESPN and SI have just run AP wire reports on this for the past 24 hours. I know that it's the weekend but if the Red Sox (champs or no) or Yankees had chosen a new coach we'd have seven reports and 8 blog entries by them already. Fuckers.
