So if CV and Stuckey go next year, thats 17m off the books. If JJ doesn't opt in, there's another 4mil, iirc.

So how much is it going to take to sign GMoney?

This team is going to win some games once BJ starts. I read maybe Sunday? Holy shit. Better look the fuck out Bostons cuz there's going to be a shitstorm when BJ starts playing. A shitstorm the likes of which has not been seen before.

GET HYPE, BISHES!

OT...but watching some highlights and Deandre Jordan? I think thats the cats name that posterized that Milwaukee Buck, isnt' it? Jordan over Knight?

Yeah, Jordan's the one who posterized Bobby Knight from Milwaukee.

Bobby Knight...just seeing his name makes me laugh.

With the 20m coming off, we need to sign Monroe and maybe make a trade with some cap space to take on a lil more talent?

sumpin like that.

This is just from memory but:

We could have $7 mil (or thereabouts) in cap space while still having Monroe's cap hold on the books

That should be enough to sign someone to fill in some gaps but methinks we'll do very little.

Drummond 34/Monroe 14
Monroe 20/Mitchell 14/Smith 14

Will Mitchell be able to contribute solid minutes next season? Is Jorts going to be back? Will we pick up some journeyman to play some minutes at the 4/5?

Smith 20/Singler 14/Datome 14
K.C.P 28/Singler 10/Jennings 10

IF you believe in Singler then grabbing a swingman isn't a desperate need... unless Datome proves to be useless. Jennings could play off the ball if we go with a small backcourt...

Jennings 25/???????

Back up PG is the issue IMO... Bynum, Siva and Chauncey could be back next season though

Assuming we do have $7 mil to spend where do we spend it?

^ Where do we spend it? If KCP doesn't pan out then we need a 2. Still wondering about sf. I like Smiff, but it's not like he's a LBJ type. Not that there is many like him.

Forget the concerns about spacing, biggest prob this team is having (and is going to have) is shot selection.

i think it's highly unlikely jerebko opts out.

Why is that? Or better, how can they solve that? In the couple games I've watched I could really tell the offense was either stagnant as I've said or I really like the word Bubbles used, disjointed. Can they move the ball more to get better shots? Can they do better with penetration? Should there be a focus on Monroe passing more?

Honest questions. I personally wish there was more movement, both ball and man on offensive. But I'm projecting more what I like than giving a real opinion on what would work.

Spacing is still a huge concern. Shot selection is just as big a problem yes but if we can get to the point that Smith is camping out at the elbow instead of the 3 point line and Monroe and Smith are able to be the great passers that they are we can be a complete team but we need the shooters to be there to make that happen. Yes, Smith needs to stop bombing out but if we can have a complete offense with KCP and chaunce spreading things out we'll be in much better shape.

Not sure what our outside shooting % is, but it doesn't seem good. Smith, BJ haven't exactly been tearing it up, have they? CBill is actually doing ok out there, it seems.

If KCP, BJ and Smiff can hit from outside, we'll be fine. We have the inside game down.

As I was saying ...

Now playing: Cheeks v. Josh Smith in "SHITSTORM"

Jennings also said he's going to "start looking for my shot more" after putting up 24 shots

Pretty clear that this doesn't look like a playoff team.

Sorry, Kstat.

Have to think that Joe's starting to think about "spending some more time with family".

Scarily, they'd still be 8th seed in the East.

Glimpses of good stuff. Like that KCP is 'finding his jumper'. Smiff's shooting percentage can NOT be good. I think thats the rub on him or what some of you've been saying. Dre HAS to find a way to stop being in foul troub. Singler is playing good. KCP is playing good. KCP doesn't even look like a rook most of the time. BJ hasn't found his game here yet or I hope he hasn't.

Still haven't read that the Pistons are FOR SURE going to resign Monroe. Is that a sure thing?
