It's MY opinion that he could succeed more in these situations (without CJ) with some shorter, quicker routes. You have Edwards and Broyles, who are essentially slot guys. Durham just sucks, so nothing much to say there.

The way they were pressuring, we needed to adjust to some quicker developing plays to allow Stafford to succeed, but we never did. Linehan is once again to blame, IMO. Stafford didn't pass terribly today. Actually probably better than last week.

I'll tell you something else about Stafford. He is fuckin slow....I mean SLOW. I was watching Luck yesterday here and there and that guy is quick. Of course Wilson is fast, Kap is fast and strong. Stafford is a big old lunk. Can't move. And when he does move, its the wrong way.

Ben is not fast but he has this innate ability to shed tacklers and just avoid sacks somehow. Steelers oline has been bad for a few years now and he soldiered through all that and won a lot of games. Stafford has ZERO pocket aweness or presence or whatevs...all of those things.
