And the accumulated filth of all their doubt and Stafford hate will foam up about their waists and all the prognosticators and bookies will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No.”

I called last weeks game, that we'd win big and we would have if Stafford could have hit the broad side of a fuckin barn. My god he was horrible last week.

We'll win this week too. Our D line will put pressure on Rogers.

Its the rollercoaster that is the Lions. ALL ABOARD!

I'll say this on this board cuz it seems to get all the STATSford koolaid drinkers panties in a bunch, but as long as we can minimize Staffords input on the game, he and we will be fine. As long as Bush can run and our defense puts a hurtin on Rogers, we will be fine. If we have to count on that fuckin clown to win the game, we won't.

Anyone else as amused as I am at the complete 180 of the Lions fans' mentality in just a week and a half? We've gone from "Same old fucking Lions who blew it against the Cardinals" to "We're gonna beat Green Bay at Lambeau!!!"

Also, the Lions will get their asses handed to them. It's not that I don't think the Lions are any good, but playing at Lambeau when the Packers had a week off to prepare? That's an automatic loss.

Rodgers is probably still going to be real steamed after the debacle in Cinci.

That's an automatic loss.

THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAMES

The benefit of the Bye week is way, WAY exagerated.

They are the same old Lions in a lot of ways. We will win some important games and probably crush all of us in the end...you know like they've done to us all of our lives.

Some years we will win more than others. The addition of Bush and our dline playing well will help us win more games than usual. Green Bay isn't playing all that great and if we can limit Staffords influence on the game, we'll win the game, imo.

I would like to plead insanity in the case of this thread.

CJ out doesn't help much.

And we have to overcome Linehan and Statsford. But I still have hope.
