I imagine someone could make the arguement we got Atlanta's best player (or 2nd best after Horford) AND Milwaukee's best player (or 2nd best after Sanders/Ilyasova/Ellis) and didn't lose anything in the deals.

All the talk of spacing doesn't matter on paper...

That said I believe the whole "spacing" issuse has been blown out of proportion since we have dudes on the bench that can shoot it (or are expected to be able to shoot it) from long range.

CV, Datome, K.C.P, Billups... possibly Singler in a more defined role...

None of them might be what you'd call "snipers" but do you need "snipers" or just guys that can connect from 3 at a reasonable clip? These shooters are out there to keep defenses honest so that Monroe and Smith can go to work inside:

You do not put shooters out there to launch 3's every time down the floor!

There out there to "space" the floor enough so your bigs can dominate the paint offensively

Not necessarily true. The Atlantic conference is awful. Right now, Boston is ahead of us in the seedings because they're at the top of their conference.
If Boston sucks while the rest of that division tanks, they're a lock for the 4th seed.
