Watched The Sheik. As you would expect from any self-produced biopic/doc, it was pretty much a puff/promotional piece. Still pretty well done, felt a bit formulaic, though.

My favorite parts were seeing/hearing from Superfly Snuka, King Kong Bundy and Jake the Snake in current day.

Gun Club documentary is up on YouTube, been wanting to check that out.

Supermensch is definitely worth watching. Checked it out about a month ago and found myself asking if it was true or a mockumentary. Some of the stories and photos just seem too made up to be real. Check it out bros and let me know what you think. Shep Gordon story.

It was good. I thought it was going be sort of a joke (plus Pittsburgh is ass) and was planning to just have it on in the background while I did some work on the computer, ended up watching with full attention. Mostly about he got attention to draw the public's attention to race inequalities while playing and what uses he put his experiences to after baseball. Guy reminded me a lot of Sheed, only with a productive retirement career.

I'm just a dadguy, so I don't know a damn thing about her, other than she had a drug problem, but this looks intriguing, especially given the reviews.

Watched this last night. I was surprised at the ending, had no idea he was dead while I was watching it. I couldn't stop thinking about how much he reminded me of Rasheed, in almost every way.

Moves kind of slow, but there's a ton of footage and audio. I'm about 40% into it, it's like 4 hours long (2 parts).

Just watched Going Clear, the recent Scientology documentary... decent, though the subject matter is as fucked up as I thought.

Last week I saw a documentary called The Act of Killing on Netflix. It interviews this group of men in Indonesia who were responsible for the deaths of thousands of people after the coup there decades ago. The crazy thing is that they styled themselves and even their killings after Hollywood movie gangsters to the point that they sort of even celebrated the tales of their murders. We thought it was shocking and really interesting.

Getting into Filmage on Prime video, guessing it's prob on netflix too? Forgot how great the Descendents were....

Watched "Iverson" the other night. It was AIight.

Very favorable to him, of course.

Glossed over his time as a Piston, that's for sure.

He comes across as really likable, while being sort of a selfish dick. Really liked the story about his dad apologizing.

I would avoid the documentary. It's not very good, at least compared to Carreyrou's book, Bad Blood, which is a one day read. The book is more intense than the documentary.

The Dirt is pretty entertaining, even if you're not into Motley Crue.
Replace "Motley Crue" with "random invented '80s metal band" and the movie works.
