So Peppers, depending on which recruiting site you follow (there are 4 main sites - ESPN, Rivals, Scout and 247) is rated anywhere between the #2 and #4 player in the country. Lockdown corner who could come in and immediately get the Woodson #2 jersey. What's also impressive is that he's working hard to get other top recruits to UM. DeShawn Hand, the #1 player in the country by 2 of the sites, has a top 3 that includes Michigan and many experts predict they are the favorite. He's a DE out of Virginia. Leonard Fournette, a RB from Louisiana and the #1 player according to the other 2 sites, is visiting UM this month. Most think it's a longshot that he would end up at UM, but it's pretty meaningful when a recruit like that from SEC country is willing to plan a visit. It's setting up to be a scary good recruiting class. If UM could land Hand, Malik McDowell (an instate DL rated in the top 30 nationally), and keep the other two DL commits they have (Bryan Mone and Lawrence Marshall) it would probably be their best DL recruiting class ever. Add the top CB to that buying more time for the DL to get to the QB? Oh yeah.
