Yeah, I'm more or less an atheist but the opinions of some of those people are insanely self-centered and egotistical. The implication that their beliefs are somehow inherently superior to 'believers' goes against everything they supposedly stand for.

No shit. With what they cost to build and maintain (at least what they charge the states) they should be called 10 star hotels.

Yes, the prison industry in the US is a horrible monster that casts a poor light on the purpose and efficacy of the nation's justice system. But, I suppose, that's something for the "Things that are wrong but are likely to continue for a long time for a number of depressing political and cultural reasons" thread.

I have removed myself from just about all the major data brokers. I got "short" with a few.
