Love the Dragon's Milk if you're into stouts. Kind of like candy but still good.

Tahoe 02-16-2013, 10:22 PM COLD! DrRay11 02-17-2013, 11:21 AM Dragon's Milk is great. Going to Dark Lord Day on the 27th. MikeMyers 02-17-2013, 01:07 PM Craft beers is the new fat white male's pizza Glenn 02-17-2013, 02:12 PM Craft beers is the new fat white male's pizza Ha, funny Vinny 07-27-2013, 01:00 AM Revolution Anti-hero is awesome. No need for anything else. Timone 07-27-2013, 01:18 AM Is that what the Chicago ballers drink? Glenn 07-27-2013, 08:27 AM Bought some Dos Equis Lager Especial last night. Very good! DrRay11 07-27-2013, 10:26 AM Been drinking a lot of crappy light beer lately. Must be summer. I'll try and have some good stuff today/tonight. MoTown 07-27-2013, 11:54 AM I'm an IPA man myself. Try Raging Bitch - good stuff. Also a big fan of Bell's Two Hearted. DrRay11 07-27-2013, 12:03 PM I'm an IPA man myself. Try Raging Bitch - good stuff. Also a big fan of Bell's Two Hearted. LOVE Two Hearted. Not had Raging Bitch yet. Who brews that? MoTown 07-27-2013, 06:47 PM Flying Dog. They actually have a bunch of good brews. Vinny 07-28-2013, 12:01 AM I'm an IPA man myself. Try Raging Bitch - good stuff. Also a big fan of Bell's Two Hearted. Picked up some 2 hearted tonight in honor of Motown's return. Good as always. DrRay11 07-28-2013, 12:45 AM Went to a festival with some 'burb friends. They went home already and I wasn't quite done so I went to 7-11.... got a 4 of this for $1.50. I'm sure they charged me wrong. Not bad, I love Galaxy hops http://i.imgur.com/VvOhqYc.jpg After reading the price tag, it should've been $8.50. nice Vinny 07-28-2013, 01:45 AM Man, how much does beer cost for everyone else? Guy by me has a great selection but he's jacked every good beer up to at least $12.99 now! I mean 10.99 was bad enough... Glenn 07-28-2013, 08:05 AM I can get a sixer of Oberon, for example, for around $7.50 in this area. Most similar beers run in the $7.00 to $8.50 range. DrRay11 07-28-2013, 10:07 AM Man, how much does beer cost for everyone else? Guy by me has a great selection but he's jacked every good beer up to at least $12.99 now! I mean 10.99 was bad enough... Yeah... from my experience Binny's is always best selection and price wise. Too bad it's not close. Vinny 07-28-2013, 12:58 PM I can get a sixer of Oberon, for example, for around $7.50 in this area. Most similar beers run in the $7.00 to $8.50 range. Egads! Gonna have to stock up, rolling through Michigan next week. Damn deposit though.... MoTown 07-28-2013, 02:30 PM I'm in Chi-Town pretty much every week, and the beer prices boarder on outrageous. However, there are some good breweries around there. I'm a big fan of Rock Bottom. Glenn 08-18-2013, 08:29 PM Don't usually do this, but just blindly picked out a 12er of bottles called "Third Shift". Anybody ever tried it? Did I eff up? On sale for $10.99 or something, 4-5 bucks off, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. DrRay11 08-18-2013, 08:32 PM It's good, not great. Vinny 08-18-2013, 08:34 PM I think it's fake good beer made by Bud or something. Might still be good though. How is it? DrRay11 08-18-2013, 08:37 PM I think it's fake good beer made by Bud or something. Might still be good though. How is it? Yeah, it's Coors. I'd give it about a 6 or 6.5 out of 10 from what I remember. Glenn 08-18-2013, 09:13 PM Coors? Fuck! I thought it said it was from Texas, not Colorado. Fuck this shit. Glenn 08-18-2013, 09:53 PM Label says Band of Brewers Co. Fort Worth, TX • Trenton, OH But I'll be gottamned if the bottle isn't a spittin image of a Killians (Coor's). Vinny 08-18-2013, 10:06 PM There's been a bunch of weird knockoffs trying to capitalize on the craft beer craze lately. Safeway's got a whole line of 'em. MoTown 08-18-2013, 10:11 PM Vinny - I was in Chicago this weekend. I went to Timothy O'Tooles downtown. I tried this Three Floyd's Blackheart English IPA - fantastic! I highly recommend that one. Not a cheap brew but it's worth it for a treat. Glenn 08-18-2013, 10:50 PM This is not too bad, Vinny and DrRay11. Tahoe 08-19-2013, 12:03 AM WTF does reco mean? I'm from Michigan and we don't do that fancy California bullshit reco this and reco that. Its just beer motha fuckas. Ok, on to the next topic that I don't know shit about. Timone 08-19-2013, 12:06 AM Recommendations. Tahoe 08-19-2013, 12:08 AM LOL Fuck, I can bring the stupid. DrRay11 08-19-2013, 09:29 AM LOL. MoTown. I love Three Floyd's, nearly everything they've brought out is fantastic. When do their Dark Lord Day a couple years ago (I think Munster, IN). Tons of fun. MoTown 08-19-2013, 12:02 PM Dark Lord Day? I'm in the Munster area quite often as well - I'll have to make a trip out there for one of these events. DrRay11 08-19-2013, 12:12 PM Yeah, it's once a year in April when they release their Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout. Tons of people trading beers, giving out homebrew, eating food, live music, etc. May try to go again next year. DE 08-27-2013, 12:25 AM I'm fortunate to get to do some road tripping these days. And as I'm traveling around I am trying the local beers of the places I've been to. I had Brooklyn beer in Brooklyn, they have some good ones. In Knoxville Tennessee I had a pale ale and a brown ale from a brewery there called Sawworks. Very good. In Kentucky I had Kentucky ale. It was all right but I then went for bourbon anyway. Now I'm in ye ole D visiting for a couple of weeks and we went to a restaurant tonight. Holy shit there are a ton of craft breweries here. That's awesome. I had an IPA from a brewery in Warren I believe, can't remember the name. Good beer. DrRay11 08-27-2013, 09:59 AM Sounds like the life, DE. Tahoe 08-27-2013, 06:06 PM Miller Lite. DE 08-27-2013, 06:15 PM Having an Atwater vanilla java porter at a pub next to the stadium. Amazing porter. Vinny 08-27-2013, 06:47 PM Miller Lite. Not with those gay-ass new bottles. Damn shame what they did to a fine product there. Give me a real 'merican beer any time over that garbage.... http://www.packagingdigest.com/photo/297/297187-Bud_patriotic_bottle.jpg Timone 08-27-2013, 06:49 PM Remember what DB said, T? Miller Lite is a babe beer. Tahoe 08-27-2013, 10:04 PM BUTT WIPER AINT NO FUCKIN MILLER'S LITE! Timone 08-27-2013, 10:10 PM Butt Wiper Ha! Vinny 08-27-2013, 10:23 PM http://www.millercoorsblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/re-size-ML-sketch.jpg Vinny 08-27-2013, 10:24 PM Apology accepted in advance. MoTown 08-30-2013, 05:00 PM Ugh... my how times have changed. I used to order Miller light when I'd go out to the bar or out for dinner. It was my go-to beer. Now, I won't touch the stuff. If I'm going to have a beer, it's going to be a beer I can enjoy every last drop. Glenn 09-02-2013, 09:44 PM CD... Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale, y'all! Reco... Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale, y'all! Timone 09-02-2013, 09:45 PM Mmm. Vinny 09-02-2013, 10:03 PM Rocking out to some Two-Hearted right now. Such a classic. Also got some Founders Centennial IPA that is ridiculously good. Also some Sierra Torpedo in 16 Oz cans....it's good in bottles but somehow AMAZING in the cans. Money. Had some O'So Night Train the other day. A little sweet but pretty fucking good. Glenn 09-02-2013, 11:17 PM Founders is incredible, and their sandwiches are even better. I get The Big Easy a couple of times a month for lunch and it's epic. DrRay11 09-03-2013, 09:31 AM My favorite brewery lately has been 3 Floyds. Bell's and Founders are up there in the ranks for me also, as well as Lagunitas. Glenn 09-14-2013, 04:08 PM What's the best beer that you can buy in a 40 ouncer? Asking for a friend. Timone 09-14-2013, 05:55 PM Your friend "Benn"? Tahoe 09-14-2013, 06:52 PM I can't drink 40's cuz they get warm and I drink a lot of fuckin beer fast. Glenn 09-14-2013, 07:12 PM Your friend "Benn"? My boys Neal and Bob. Glenn 09-14-2013, 07:13 PM I can't drink 40's cuz they get warm and I drink a lot of fuckin beer fast. They actually shouldn't get warm if you drink fast. MoTown 09-14-2013, 09:09 PM Rocking out to some Two-Hearted right now. I had a couple Centennials last night - good stuff. Had a 90 Minute IPA a few weeks back - definitely a good beer. I think it's like a 9% ABV and not too hopsey - I'm a fan. Tahoe 09-16-2013, 08:03 PM They actually shouldn't get warm if you drink fast. My post was fucked up, again, but I drink beer fuckin fast and a 12 is all I want. My beer has to be fuggin cold. 24s even get warm for my temperature sensitivity to beer and I drink a lot of beer. Winter time is different story up in Tahoe though. Or Midland/Bay City/Saginaw. I can go 24s. Glenn 09-16-2013, 10:41 PM This is a little too much. http://youtu.be/kuzijS2NuoQ Timone 09-16-2013, 10:43 PM Sometimes I wish I could just sit back and drink a fuckin' beer or a thousand beers, you guys, but I've gotta be careful. |
