Picked up some 2 hearted tonight in honor of Motown's return. Good as always.

Went to a festival with some 'burb friends. They went home already and I wasn't quite done so I went to 7-11.... got a 4 of this for $1.50. I'm sure they charged me wrong. Not bad, I love Galaxy hops

Vinny - I was in Chicago this weekend. I went to Timothy O'Tooles downtown. I tried this Three Floyd's Blackheart English IPA - fantastic!

I highly recommend that one. Not a cheap brew but it's worth it for a treat.

MoTown. I love Three Floyd's, nearly everything they've brought out is fantastic. When do their Dark Lord Day a couple years ago (I think Munster, IN). Tons of fun.

Dark Lord Day? I'm in the Munster area quite often as well - I'll have to make a trip out there for one of these events.

Yeah, it's once a year in April when they release their Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout. Tons of people trading beers, giving out homebrew, eating food, live music, etc. May try to go again next year.

I'm fortunate to get to do some road tripping these days. And as I'm traveling around I am trying the local beers of the places I've been to. I had Brooklyn beer in Brooklyn, they have some good ones. In Knoxville Tennessee I had a pale ale and a brown ale from a brewery there called Sawworks. Very good. In Kentucky I had Kentucky ale. It was all right but I then went for bourbon anyway. Now I'm in ye ole D visiting for a couple of weeks and we went to a restaurant tonight. Holy shit there are a ton of craft breweries here. That's awesome. I had an IPA from a brewery in Warren I believe, can't remember the name. Good beer.

Ugh... my how times have changed. I used to order Miller light when I'd go out to the bar or out for dinner. It was my go-to beer. Now, I won't touch the stuff. If I'm going to have a beer, it's going to be a beer I can enjoy every last drop.

Founders is incredible, and their sandwiches are even better.

I get The Big Easy a couple of times a month for lunch and it's epic.

My favorite brewery lately has been 3 Floyds. Bell's and Founders are up there in the ranks for me also, as well as Lagunitas.

Had a 90 Minute IPA a few weeks back - definitely a good beer. I think it's like a 9% ABV and not too hopsey - I'm a fan.

My post was fucked up, again, but I drink beer fuckin fast and a 12 is all I want. My beer has to be fuggin cold. 24s even get warm for my temperature sensitivity to beer and I drink a lot of beer.

Winter time is different story up in Tahoe though. Or Midland/Bay City/Saginaw. I can go 24s.
