Watched about half of that abomination. Losing 6-0 has nothing to do with talent or the lack of a training camp. They were just plain bad. And the Blues are that good too. To channel some Mickey Redmond, every time a white sweater got the puck there was a blue jersey all over him.

I've probably ranted about this 1000 times here but I'm so fucking sick of hearing about puck possession. That's not the key to the Wings success as much as forecheck, defensive positioning and breakout. The Blues would get the puck back immediately and right away hit an open man through obvious passing lanes (Redmond rightfully harped on that all last night). If they don't clean that shit up and pick up their forecheck and movement this will be a long shortened regular season.

How long is the fuckin season? 10 games? Why don't they just start the playoffs? There's only like 2 fuckin teams that don't make the NHL playoffs isn't there?
