Yeah, I mean I'm happy to have him but that's a shit-ton of money for a guy that's had like 3 healthy years.

He pitched pretty good down the stretch or at least once he got settled in here. I think after the trade, Dumbrowski kind of had to sign the guy. He gave up a really good pitching prospect and a decent catcher, iirc. If he would have went to another club and even chewed up innings peeps would be bitching about not signing him. If he is getting an extra a couple, or few, million over his contract, so be it. He'll be a good asset, imo.
