As soon as I post that, he finally got a replay correct...which makes him even more of a douche.

This is just smelling like a Dolts win.

Just the Lions doing what the Lions do: letting them hang in there when they have no business being in it.

No offense, guys.

Staffert is a fuqstik, a fuqbranch and a fuqtree.

Tahoe
12-02-2012, 03:27 PM
Agree T. We just don't take advantage of shit like we should. That pic in the first half as an example.

No worries, we have plenty of time to fuz this up. But Staff does look pissed today. Wish he'd bring that every game.

Is anybody even in Calvin's stratosphere at the moment? AJ Green is pretty good, but no.

Timone
12-02-2012, 03:33 PM
Glan might ban me if I don't give "his" Brandon Marshall some love. HE ISN'T AS GOOD AS CALVIN, GLAN!!!

Tahoe
12-02-2012, 03:37 PM
If only we had a top notch qb to get him the ball.

Timone
12-02-2012, 03:38 PM
Lions ball. In these situations, elite teams like SF, NE, MSU, etc put the dagger in. Do "our" Lions have it in them?

Longest Lions run in, what, about 15 years?

Timone
12-02-2012, 03:51 PM
Antonio Brown would have caught that.

DUDE, STOP! Brown won't be catching ANYTHING today.

Timone

Plenty of time for the Dolts.

I have to go work out after this game but looking forward to the 2nd half of the day in football, thats fer sher.

Timone
12-02-2012, 03:58 PM
And for good measure, "we" wiped out one of their coaches. Ha!

Still not over.

Colts lost this one, imo, we didn't do a lot on offense to win it. Even though we gave up 21, our D did kinda show up today.

Timone
12-02-2012, 04:02 PM
If not for getting to play 'zona, I would call this the last win of the season. Then again, you never know......

Tahoe
12-02-2012, 04:03 PM
I think we'll win a few. srs.

Lions punting to the Colts with 1:07 left, up only 5. LOL

This is... laughable.

Sorry Taheau, but this one falls squarely on your shoulders for leaving early.

DE
12-02-2012, 06:47 PM
It won't happen for many obvious reasons but this team needs a complete coaching change. Gym Shorts was a good enough coach to take this team away from being a laughing stock but he's not good enough for taking them to the next level.

The Lions are getting burned at least once a game for having their front 4 over-pursue. A great front 4 would never let a QB run through them like Luck did on the last play. Their job was to collapse that pocket and limit him. I'm not football expert and don't have 190 years in the game like Gunther and even I know that.

Is DE a prisoner of the moment, T, or should we start the "discussion"?

Tahoe
12-02-2012, 09:22 PM
I think he's close. Firstly, nothing, NOTHING wil happen with Gym Shorts. But I do think Gunther has to go and possibly Linehan. Will both go this offseason? No, but if this organization is going to bottom out, or turn the corner, the higher ups need to make faster, but still educated decisions on coaches and players. I'm not asking for a revolving door of coaches and I'm ok with Gym coming back another year if, IF, he lets one of the coordinators go. I hope he lets both go.

And I still don't like that goofball fuckin dipshit Lewand or whatever the Prezs name is. I think he's Prez. Get rid of that dipshit. I'm not sold on Mayhew either. He has done a good job but nothing more than a good job. I'd give him a c+. If it wasn't for his late round trades bringing in some dbs, etc a couple of years ago, I'd say fire that bitch also. Actually, come to think about it, I'm not so sure as many of those guys panned out as we originally thought. < talking about those late round trades he made.

So fuck it, thats off the top of my head.

DE

Now obviously I'm going to defend my own opinion, but I do feel that I've taken some time to come to this decision.

I agree with you Tahoe, Shorts is here for at least another year. And I would absolutely get rid of both coordinators. I don't know if that's a good decision for stability but here's the biggest reason: they both have sucked at developing our talent. Pettigrew is on and off. Stafford was very inconsistent the beginning of this year. Suh is not living up to his potential at all.

My issue with this is who is going to be available that is better now and has more potential than Jim Schwartz? I don't think there is anyone.

Unfortunately, as bad as I want Pettigrew gone, we'll likely have a hard time finding an upgrade for him, too. Wouldn't mind looking at Jared Cook (FA)

Tahoe

^ Cowher.

Also, glad peeps are finally coming around to the idea that Pett has issues.

DrRay11
12-03-2012, 11:39 AM
Pettigrew doesn't have the athleticism to separate, which is what puts him in a lot of these difficult positions with defenders draped all over him. That will never change, so we should start searching for his replacement sooner than later. I'm sorry I didn't see that sooner, but it's evident.
